Remember the previous post saying that "bug reports are not frequent anymore"? Well, we kind of jinxed it, and a bunch of unsettling bugs popped out after some further testing. It's still a good thing we found more of them bugs, so we can provide updates to bust them out for good. The battle for fixing rogue code just never ends...

[h2]GAME ADJUSTMENTS[/h2]
  • Description Edits to Support Actions
    - For [Full Repair], once Fortress gets its armor destroyed, the armor health and repair points will stop appearing on the description
    - For [Priority Summon], this can be used repeatedly for greater cooldown reduction
    - For Support Craft specific actions, the Support Activation lasts until the Support Craft leaves
  • Sledgenaut's STRIKE ANCHOR SP Tech adjustments to hitbox size
    - Buffed Lv1 hitbox size
    - Buffed Lv4 size increase to 60%

[h2]BUG FIXES[/h2]
  • Prime Skins animating ship parts still moving when game is paused
  • Hyperspace Campaign: Fortress Prime Skin graphical and animation bugs when Fortress Shell is destroyed
  • Hyperspace Campaign: Oracle's hacked units not counting towards destroyed ship count
  • Hyperspace Campaign: Survival Time on end screen stats not working properly
  • Hyperspace Overdrive: Upgrades getting rolled back when moving to the next area
  • Support Actions RP cost discount not applied properly when equipped with cost-reducing modifiers/passives
  • [PhaigeX Cavalry] Passive: Acquiring Lv5 Allied Leviathan triggers Boss BGM to play
  • Asteroids getting affected by Oracle's [ECM Package] slowing and damage over time effects

Confiners, we are back for some quick minor tweaks.

The updates aren't that much, and they're more of "polishing some loose ends". Nevertheless, this is a good sign that bug reports are not that frequent anymore, and PhaigeX is shaping up nicely for everyone to enjoy!

  • ENEMY SHIP [MEMENTO]
    - Directional shield color matched to Warden's purple.
  • SUPPORT ACTIONS
    - Updated shop description text that "activated support actions last until the support craft leaves"
  • SHIP MODIFIERS
    - Adjusted Modifier Animation FX to hide quicker upon deactivation
    - Applicable to "condition-triggered" modifier effects like Tech Boost, Station Loader, etc.
  • TRANSPORTAL
    - Improved chances to obtain ship modifiers once a ship has maxed out customized stats

Ever since the conception of PhaigeX, survival from the vasts of Hyperspace has been always a part of the base game experience. And now, it finally obtains its well-deserved difficulty tweak. Compared to the latter game modes, development has now step up and made some adjustments to make Survival Mode great again!

  • SURVIVAL MODE
    - Adjustments to incursion event spawns in a way that increases difficulty by a bit
    - Ship spawns are accompanied by drone formations to slow down spawn camping
    - Added Shade corvettes to Incursion Spawns that gives Signal Jamming, preventing support calls and halting the escape timer until all Jammers are destroyed
    - Added shielded Warden corvettes to Incursion Spawns that protects enemy ships from being easy pickings

    - Buff to Lv1 attraction range
    - Lv2 attraction range changed from 50% to 30%

For this update, we focused more on improving the visuals for better recognition and spectacle. Also pushed some bug fixes here and there.

    - Disabled aiming lines for allied unit weapons
  • Escape Portal for non-Hyperspace Modes
    - Updated visual effects and added a label

We are currently getting to the gritty details on how we want PhaigeX to operate. Ironing out loose ends, be really nitpicky about stuff, all these to polish and make our workplace even better. Enjoy these updates!

  • TRANSPORTAL
    - Improved probability of getting colored ship skins (should be easier to complete than Alter Skins)
    - Improved chances of getting ship modifiers
    - For Gamepad: the button control for [Warp Call x8] is kept consistent for continuous rolling pleasure
  • HYPERSPACE CAMPAIGN
    - Nerfed damage buffer for player ships (we noticed unusual survivability rates within large swarms)
    - Fleet Assault-type events will never occur as the first randomized event

    - End Game Stats: Survival Time is displayed together with Sector Progress
    [h2][/h2]
    - Megalith: adjusted graphics for [Damaged State] (glowing cracks) and [Destroyed State] (no more glowing cracks, changed to heavily damaged sprite) for easier recognition
    - Megalith: segment parts has a more spectacular explosion when destroyed
  • TUTORIAL
    - [Energy Cores] tutorial now triggers on the first defense structure destroyed
  • ACHIEVEMENTS
    - [All-Out Attack] achievement requirements changed: Call in the Support Craft 10 times in a non-Hyperspace run. (Survival / Fleet Assault / Demolition)
    - [This Is My Stage Now] achievement text changed: Destroy 10 Energy Core structures. (Not restricted to Demolition Mode)

  • MODE SELECTION: bottom panel still highlighted when non-Hyperspace modes are selected
  • HYPERSPACE CAMPAIGN: Shop Events having a choice for [+1 weapon / passive slot] even if the player already has maximum slots
  • HYPERSPACE CAMPAIGN: End Stats not counting enemy types properly
  • HYPERSPACE OVERDRIVE: Artemis and Apollo events forces the player to change Support Crafts upon succeeding the respective mission, which should not happen
  • SHIP: [Oracle] Converted [Avenger] class ships should have color-aligned missiles (blue thrust)
  • WEAPON: [Leech Slave] Should interact with remote signal booster and extend drain time
  • GRAPHICAL BUG: Missing critical sector sprite when destroyed with certain attacks
  • GRAPHICAL BUG: Warning Notifs for Warp Out and Drone Swarm overlaps and mess up UI
  • EVENT GENERATION BUG: Code for limiting event type repeatability not working
  • CDR STAT BUG: Adjusted threshold value before it stops showing on the Support Shop
  • ACHIEVEMENT BUG: [Knowledge Is Power] achievement triggering in Hyperspace Mode by picking up Arsenal Point powerups
