[/p][p][/p][p] The full release of Ruza will be on June 30th 2025![/p][p][/p][p]After 10 years of work, the game has went through multiple engines, multiple gameplay mechanics and multiple styles. I am glad to say that this is the final version of the game that I'm happy with.[/p][p][/p][p]The full version is a culmination of a multitude of events that happened through this journey and shaped it to be what it finally is. Full speed ahead!

Hello!

The final chapter is nearing completion! I can assure you that 11.11.2025 will be a night to remember!

Here are the numbers:
Chapter 3 - 70% done
Chapter 1 rework - 90% done
Chapter 2 rework - 30% done

Initially I thought that if I added too much horror it would put off a lot of people. Turns out, it's what a big part of the audience wants, and I'm happy to deliver that content. Interestingly enough, Ruza took a 180 degree turn in personality. She's actually a wendigo now, instead of a romcom meme.

Additionally, I have cut a lot of harem/anime stuff out and implemented the horror I always wanted put into the game. I'm working on a lot of improvements in previous chapters as well. Quality of life things like better lighting, more intuitive mechanics, better gameplay etc.:



Also, you can expect a lot more horror than previously:



Ruza was never meant to be a typical run-of-the-mill RPG. Not to say that it was unique for the sake of uniqueness, but rather to make a game that I was happy with. Making games is a complex endeavor and it evolves over time as you learn more skills to improve the game. It was always intended to be a mix of comedy and horror, now I am just balancing those elements.

If all of this sounds confusing, rest assured that it will all make sense once the full game is released. If you enjoyed the game so far, the content that will be cut will not make a big impact. I'm not changing the overall atmosphere of the game, I'm just reducing the comedy aspects and increasing the ones that are more scary and build up tension and intrigue.
