Demo v1.0.3439 Update

Thank you for trying the demo! Over the three days since its launch, we have received your feedback and pushed our programmers to work overtime to fix the issues. If you're excited about the full version after completing the demo, consider adding the game to your wishlist! If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments or share them in our QQ group.

Demo v1.0.3439 Update

Fixed collisions that caused characters to get stuck;
  • Added the ability to skip mid-dialogues;
  • Fixed an issue where resolution could not be adjusted in windowed mode;
  • Optimized the hitbox for the Pointer-Dash module;
  • Updated the Iteration System tutorial, which now triggers before the first Instructor System challenge;
  • Fixed a bug where Boss Seven could deflect ranged attacks;
  • Fixed an issue where gameplay settings would not display correctly;
  • Fixed ambiguities in some UI texts;
  • Optimized damage detection and time-slow effects, ensuring visual consistency;
  • Added a list of production staff in some localized versions;
  • Updated dialogue hints for puzzles;
  • Fixed a bug where interactive item UI could disappear;
  • Fixed an issue where Flashback might return to the world's origin point;
  • Fixed a bug where mechanisms would disappear upon reloading;
  • Fixed a bug where some small enemies could lose their targets;
  • Fixed a bug that prevented exiting time-slow states and added a fail-safe mechanism.

The new Demo was released on January 21st!

"Retrace the Light" Demo Now Available
  • Attention all Enforcers, we have great news to announce: After several months of intensive development, the overall completion of the game "Retrace the Light" is now approaching the release stage, and we are getting closer to officially meeting you all.
  • Therefore, we plan to release a Demo on January 21st, to help those who are interested in the game to take a close look at the actual gameplay experience! The Demo will be permanently available on the store page, and we will continue to update it, with no plans to take it down in the near future.

  • This demo includes the complete tutorial level and the introduction part of an official level. After completing the main storyline, which lasts about 40 minutes, if you're still craving more, you can enter the Combat Simulation Program to challenge a combat of mid-game difficulty. (Here's a secret: your opponent is your fellow Enforcer.)
  • Compared to the full version, some growth elements such as Iteration System and Booster Modules are only partially available in the Demo (including 6 Major Modules and 5 Minor Modules), and they will be automatically unlocked when entering the Combat Simulation Program.
  • If you encounter any issues or have suggestions while playing the Demo, feel free to share them with us in the Steam comment section. We wish you success in executing your missions in the Realm of Meta Mirror!

  • The Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese localizations of the game have been implemented. If your language is not available, please don’t worry. Our localization plan is as follows: Spanish will be implemented by the end of January, and Korean, French, and Traditional Chinese will be implemented in February.

Our game "Retrace the Light" will soon participate in Shanghai CCG - 2024 China International Cartoon and Game Expo!

The exhibition time is July 4th to July 7th, 2024, 9:00am to 17:00pm. There will be two booths A10 and C12 Trial activities.

When we learned the good news that "Retrace the Light" won the GWB2023 Silver Award, we couldn't wait to share it with everyone. As a game under development, "Retrace the Light" received such an award, which is a great encouragement to every member of the development team.
