Patch 0.14.0: Ideology

You can unlock Ideology by building Big Ben (Unlocked by Capitalism). Big Ben also provides +2 Science From Busy Workers.

[h2]New Buildings[/h2]
There are some breaking changes regarding Livestock Farm - it is split into two buildings: Poultry Farm which only produces meat and Dairy Farm which only produces milk. To help with this transition, existing livestock farms will continue to work but can no longer be built. Dido still provides boost to Livestock Farm in 0.14 but will be removed in 0.15.
  • Add "Poultry Farm": 2x Wheat -> 2 Meat
  • Add "Dairy Farm": 2x Wheat -> 2 Milk
  • Add "Poetry School": 2x Paper + 1x Alcohol -> 2 x Poem
  • Deprecate "Livestock Farm": existing livestock farms will continue to work but you cannot build new livestock farms
  • Dido now boosts Dairy Farm and Poultry Farm
  • New great person Homer: +1 Production and Storage Multiplier for Stable and Poetry School (Classical Age)


[h2]New Wonder[/h2]
  • Large Hadron Collider: All Information Age great people get +2 level for this run. This wonder can be upgraded and each additional upgrade provides +1 level to all Information Age great people for this run (Unlocked by Virtual Reality)


[h2]Other Changes[/h2]
  • Clone Factory will no longer sustain itself - it is required to transport resources from a building that produces the resource to be cloned (e.g. If you want to clone Super Computers, the clone factory can only use Super Computers directly transported from Super Computer Labs. Super Computers stored in Warehouse/Caranvansary/Clone Factory cannot be used)
  • Transports to buildings that produce workers no longer require workers. This will help with worker domino collapse issue
  • When upgrading wonders (Internation Space Station, Marina Bay Sands, Palm Jumeirah, Alderson Disk, Dyson Sphere, Matrioshka's Brain, Luxor Temple Chogha Zanbil), the builder capacity will increase linearly with the level
  • Matrioshka's Brain: each additional upgrade provides +1 Production Multiplier for buildings that produce Science
  • Geography research will increase the explorer's range to 2; Steam Engine research will increase the explorer's range to 3; Aviation will increase explorer's range to 4
  • Peacekeeper is unlocked by Financial Arbitrage (instead of Virtual Reality)
  • When an Information Age wonder is being upgraded, it will continue to provide boost

  • Fix a bug where Future achievement is not correctly awarded

  • When you select a building, the game will now draw lines from incoming and outgoing transports (it only drew incoming transports before. This requires more calculation, thus can slow down a bit on older computers)
  • Improve the performance of Building tab in Statistics Office when there are lots of buildings
  • Remove Zenobia from the list of great people from Broadway (since it does not work anyway)
  • Reduce the threshold of multiple Great People per pick to 50
  • Improve the performance when selecting tech tree item
  • Improve the performance when showing/hiding the chat

Babylon is a supporter pack map. Every week, one of the supporter map is available for all players (including free to play players)

[h3]Unique Wonders[/h3]
  • Ziggurat of Ur: Every 10 happiness (capped) provides +1 Production Multiplier to all buildings (max = number of unlocked ages / 2). Wonders (incl. Natural) no longer provide +1 Happiness. The effect can be turned off.
  • Tower of Babel: Provides +2 Production Multiplier to all buildings that has at least one working building located adjacent to the wonder
  • Wall of Babylon: All buildings get +N Storage Multiplier. N = number of unlocked ages / 2




[h3]Natural Wonders[/h3]
  • Zagros Mountains: All adjacent buildings that have less than 5 Production Multiplier get +2 Production Multiplier. Double the effect of Nebuchadnezzar II (Great Person)
  • Euphrates River: Every 10% of busy workers that in production (not transporting) provides +1 Production Multiplier to all buildings that do not produce workers (max = number of unlocked ages / 2). When the Hanging Garden is built next to it, the Hanging Garden gets +1 effect for each age after the Hanging Garden is unlocked. When discovered, spawn water on all adjacent tiles that do not have deposits


[h2]Other Changes[/h2]
  • Hagia Sophia now shows the name of 3 random supporter pack owners
  • Show Extra Great Person in Resource Panel
  • Add UI to indicate if a multiplier is dynamic
  • Fix a bug where dynamic multipliers are calculated incorrectly


Patch 0.11.0: Religion & QoL

Patch 0.11.0 introduces a new Religion system, plus two important QoL changes. Before going into the details, I am very happy to announce that more than 500 players have purchased the supporter pack! As mentioned before, one copy of the supporter pack is roughly equivalent to one day's server cost - this help fund the game's server for 500 days, until 1 July 2025!

[h2]QoL[/h2]
  • Allow picking multiple permanent Great People when rebirth. You have to choose the pick per roll before rebirth. The max pick per roll is floor(GP Amount / Total Available GP). Currently there are 92 great people
  • Allow unlocking a tech and its prerequisites with a single click, provided there's enough science
  • Allow adjusting scroll sensitivity in Options -> Theme
  • Support batch applying resource import settings for Warehouse and Caravansary
  • Add a new tutorial page listing common pitfalls to avoid
  • Add "Run Out" timer in deficit resources popover in resource bar


[h2]Bugfix & Balancing[/h2]
  • Manhattan Project requires Nuclear Fuel Rod instead of Uranium
  • Skyscraper provides +1 Production Multiplier for Research Fund (New York)
  • Hagia Sophia no longer consumes Faith and provides +5 Happiness instead. It also provides extra happiness to avoid production halt during the game bootstrap
  • Fix a bug where Hagia Sophia's bonus is applied before it is completed
  • Fix a bug where Grand Bazaar's effect is applied before it is completed
  • Fix a bug where Great People in World War era are missing storage multiplier
