Space Marine 2 is banning mods from most online play, but there's good news too

Saber Interactive is going to prohibit Space Marine 2 mods during online play soon, but the ban isn't exactly a bad thing. Not only has the team outlined exactly why mods need to go, but it's also explained how the modding community will actually get even more support than before. So if you're worried you'll stop seeing SM2 mods, or that this ban means you can't use them whatsoever, I've got some good news.
