Revenge of the Savage Planet Rift | Update 7.2

[p]Welcome back to the Digiverse…[/p][p]You’re just in time, friends. Someone spilt coffee all over an arcade machine, and it might have caused a minor temporal distortion in spacetime. This unusual activity has opened up rifts that lead to other worlds in a place/not-place they’ve named The Digiverse. If you need a recap of what the Digiverse is, check out the digital phenomenon here.[/p][p]We’re thrilled to announce our next Digiverse Rift is in partnership with Racoon Logic Studios and Revenge of the Savage Planet, where you’ll not only discover vivid alien wildlife in Two Point Museum, but this time, the temporal spill has gone both ways, and you’ll find Museum goodies in Revenge of the Savage Planet itself…

So you can properly curate the galaxy, we’ve bundled with Revenge of the Savage Planet, so if you don’t already own it, you can jump in now for a steal:

[dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Two Point experts have uncovered a rift in the Digiverse, leading to a mysterious planetary system teeming with intriguing alien flora and fauna. Explore three Points of Interest as you collect exhibits from Revenge of the Savage Planet, wowing guests with the vibrant and sometimes… anxious, fauna of the Savage Planet, like the beloved Brainard, alongside bitey flora from the franchise, which we recommend you um, not make eye contact with, just in case.[/p][p][/p][p]There are six new exhibits to collect, with new items for the Staff Room that bring a splash of the space age to the otherwise… earthly, decor of Two Point County. There are new decorative items, as well as a brand-new sci-fi Staff Outfit.[/p][p][/p]
Revenge of the Savage Planet
[p]Welcome to the Pioneer Program![/p][p]Greetings, fellow space settlers! Isn’t it neat, hopping through a rip in digital spacetime? I’d take that over a century asleep in an ALTA Cryo-Pod any day… Anyway, we’re here to establish a flourishing foothold for humanity in deep space! And a crucial element of our mission is to catalogue the pristine alien ecosystems, which fits with your… what are you? A curator? Keeper? Regardless, it’s now in your job description, so let's get cataloguing.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]First up, you’ll need to recruit a fleet of specialised experts. We don’t know what we’ll be up against, so it's best to come prepared. The first planet we’ve reached is Stellaris Prime, a dense jungle world. Vibrant, colourful, mildly toxic, with a strange obsession with mushrooms - the usual. It’ll also serve as our home base for this little adventure.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Once you’ve discovered the little guys of Stellaris Prime (aren’t they adorable?), you’ll be up for the challenge of Xephyr. Desolate. Sandy. Course and rough and oh-so irritating. The flora here may be less happy to see you; they’re in the market for any prospective snack, so keep arms and digits inside your space suit, please.[/p][p][/p][p]Now adept at intergalactic digitalised space fare, it’s time to discover new materials in the depths of space, like the incredibly precious, ahem, Aluminium (did Glurp really have the monopoly on that?).[/p][p]To find these exotic materials, you’ll first need to create a Discount AR Smart Visor™ to equip on expeditions. These high-tech visors will help you locate rare resources used to build sci-fi Staff Room Items so that your museum staff can be as comfortable as their colleagues in deep(ly comfortable) space![/p][p][/p][p]On your space-age adventure, you’ll collect six new exhibits across three new POIs, unlocking futuristic goodies alongside a suite of sci-fi gadgets for your staff. Just be careful the guests don’t get any ideas about mixing the fruity texture of the Kiwi Slug with a good old pack of Gubbins… whilst delicious, they may, um, become hallucinatory (trust us, we tested it, in the name of science, of course! Definitely not lunch.)[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Centrepiece Habitat Items
[p]For Zooseum players, five new large centre-piece items are now available for your Habitats to elevate the rooms! These new decor items can now be found on POIs on the Farflung Isles Expedition Map, and once unlocked, are purchased with Kudosh.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
So, what’s new?
• [p]Experts can now explore the world of Revenge of the Savage Planet, visiting Stellaris Prime, Xephyr, and the Zenithian Rift.[/p]
 • [p]Collect six new exhibits, including Botany Exhibits as well as new Terrarium and Habitat creatures.[/p]
 • [p]Create a real sci-fi feel with new decorative items and a new vending machine.[/p]
 • [p]Get ready for interstellar travel with a new Staff Outfit and Staff Room items.[/p]
 • [p]Discover a brand new set of Materials for creating items in the Workshop.[/p]
 • [p]For Zooseum, new centrepiece decorative items are available for each biome type.[/p]
[p][/p]

[p][/p][p]As usual, this update also comes with a load of bug fixes, improvements and optimisation changes.[/p][p]Thank you all (again!) for providing feedback, sending us your ideas, reporting bugs and giving us suggestions for new content.[/p][p]If you’d like to send us your thoughts for future content or updates, or show us your fab museums, here’s the place to do that:[/p][p]DiscordTikTokBlueSkyTwitterInstagramFacebookReddit[/p][p]Love from the Two Point Team (P.S. One of the best things you can do to help support the studio is to leave a Steam Review! If you’ve tried your hand at curating, we’d love to hear your feedback. Thank you!)[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Hey Pointians: it’s TIIIIIIIIIIIIME!
[p][/p][p]We’ve finally unleashed our larger, longer and undoubtedly hairier DLC! Two Point Museum: Zooseum is ready for curators turned budding-keepers as you embark on the County’s new mane attraction, in setting up your ex-zoo-bition.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Play Two Point Musuem: Zooseum now! Early adopters can take advantage of a 10% discount for the first week of launch (discount for PS+ members on PS5)[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p] [/p]
What’s in the habitat?
• [p]A new museum location, where you’ll set up your Zooseum in the beautiful Silverbottom Park, and explore the campaign[/p]
 • [p]A new expert and exhibit theme: Wildlife[/p]
 • [p]An unexplored expedition map: the Farflung Isles[/p]
 • [p]Rehabilitate 40+ Wildlife Exhibits[/p]
 • [p]A new five-star campaign to explore[/p]
 • [p]New adorable gift shop items[/p]
 • [p]New interactive displays[/p]
 • [p]New themed items and decorations[/p]
 • [p]Two new animal-related rooms[/p]
 • [p]Tonnes of new workshop items[/p]
 • [p]....and much more![/p]
[p][/p]
Now Hiring: Wildlife Experts!
[p]Are you qualified to heal, raise and perhaps occasionally hug some wonderful wildlife? Wiggy Silverbottom, Two Point County’s very own Kudoshillionaire (and noted eccentric) has generously lent us the use of (one of) his stately manors. Silverbottom Park is now a wildlife sanctuary-slash-museum… a Zooseum, if you will! Where the only thing wilder than the animals are the guests.[/p][p][/p]
Eat, Sleep, Sit
[p]We urgently require Wildlife Experts trained in a dizzying array of knowledge on critters and creatures great and small. Do you get on with creatures with more legs than you? Or sometimes no legs at all? Excellent. If you’re someone who appreciates the intricacies of life across five distinct biomes, complete with corresponding fiddly flora, fauna and enrichment, this is the role for you![/p][p][/p][p]Disclaimer: each creature has specific needs for its habitat, and, like in the queue for the staff room doughnuts, they don’t all always get along… Except the magnificent, utterly chill Unflappybara. They’ll live with nearly anyone; they have truly the best vibes, pure zen-ergy.[/p][p][/p]
Rescue, Rehabilitate, Release
[p]The Farflung Isles are in great trouble! The environment is collapsing, and creatures are falling sick with panda-emic, Faflung Flu. Reintroducing rehabilitated animals, among other conservation efforts, from budding Wildlife Experts is critical if we’re to turn the knackered ecosystem of the Isles around. You’ll heal and rehabilitate critters in the new Wildlife Welfare room, giving them a full spa treatment and getting them Re-Animilated. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Through your efforts, the Biodiversity of the Isles will increase (or decrease… which is not recommended), and you’ll earn vital Sanctuary Points for your hard work. These points can be used to adopt from the County’s very own Department of Wildlife; you’ll only be able to offer sanctuary to animals you’ve already rescued, of course.[/p][p][/p][p]We expect that only the regular, completely by-the-book amount of predictable injuries will be sustained on expeditions. Probably.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Sat on the Zooseum fence?
[p]Pack your best khaki shorts and poop scoop, as you embark to the tranquil Silverbottom Park, where you can get a taster for curation-meets-keeping, in the DLC taster content![/p][p]Everything in the taster is now part of the base game, meaning you can collect the first seven wildlife exhibits from the DLC, as well as try out the first star of the campaign, for free![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Two Point Franchise Sale!
[p]The Black Friday SEGA sale is live for the next 2 weeks, so why not grab a bargain in preparation for the chillier months? Gingerbread Village | New Winter Seasonal Update!

[p]Warmest of wishes, Pointians![/p][p]A frosty spell has hit Two Point Museum! Time to wrap up warm, dust off your festive decor, and get ready to explore as you lavish your staff and museums in gifts, because the Winter Seasonal Update is here! From today, you can expect a whole host of yuletide treats… maybe keep them frozen, OK?[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Frost and foremost, three brrrrilliant POIs (that’s Points Of Interest!) have frozen over, sat above Cold Mines in the Bone Belt. So get hats and scarves ready as you prepare to dash through the snow in a no-horse close-topped plane.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Winter Town
[p]First, you’ll embark to the first of three new POIs: the magical Gingerbread Village. The jolly hamlet appeared overnight, as if by some meticulous culinary magic. Such are the transformative, biscuit-y powers of the holiday season. With their winter coats dusted off, your experts will discover a hamper of fabulous decor and exhibits before exploring the icy fields of Festive Fleeces and the frozen Bauble Breach.[/p][p][/p][p]Get your staff all dressed up with snow-where to go (except to Gingerbread Village, of course) by weathering your staff in merry Santa and Elf Outfits. Freeze the day and decorate your museum for winter with a sleigh-full of new decorations, wallpapers, floors, and handy utility items to bring sparkle and joy to your museum halls.[/p][p][/p][p]Give your Museums a bright and jolly makeover to really bring the cosiness in. Gift-wrapped decorations and Santa’s Workshop red brick archways are now available, with winter nutcrackers to stand sentinel, silently judging your guests. If you’re partial to some merry decor, then rejoice with festive wreaths and winter rugs. For those who are anti-big light, bring some sparkle to your museums and deck the whole place in fairy lights and glowing Polar Lamposts![/p][p][/p][p]Just like the nippy weather, your exhibits and decor appreciate the chilly temperatures inside your museums. If things heat up, they may reveal something… any ice-blue items may have a special surprise for you![/p][p][/p][p]So, what’s new?[/p]
 • [p]Dash through the snow to three Points of Interest that make up Winter Town, tucked away in the Bone Belt[/p]
 • [p]Explore to find five new exhibits, including a new interactive display that’ll bring your guests some festive cheer![/p]
 • [p]Jolly new customisable options for your walls and floors[/p]
 • [p]Bring festive cheer with new free decor items: festive wreath, nutcracker, rugs… and more![/p]
 • [p]Bundle up tight with two new staff outfits[/p]
 • [p]…and a whole partridge in a pear tree![/p]
[p][/p]

[p][/p][p]How does it work?[/p][p]Seasonal POIs are a bit special; they only appear during the seasonal event. So, plan your expeditions to discover the new festive fines on offer, whilst the winter event is live.[/p][p]Snow worries: we wouldn’t dream of melting your gifts early. Gingerbread Village and its neighbouring POIs are ready for exploration, so collect your brrrrilliant exhibits before February 28th. And don’t worry, we’ll post plenty of reminders before it’s time to pack away your hats and scarves.[/p][p]And the best bit: decorations are forever! Once you’ve unlocked the lovely seasonal decorative items, they’re yours to keep, no matter the season. Plus, the event’s POIs will make an annual return, just like the turning of the seasons themselves. So, you can always revisit them next year for another cocoa![/p]
