Free Zooseum Taster & QoL Changes | Update 7.0

[p]Hey Curators,[/p][p][/p][p]The management chaos in Two Point County never sleeps! (… well, except for the Unflapybara, he’s on his sixth nap of the day).

We need your immediate attention, Curators, at a brand-new initiative in the County: our very own wildlife sanctuary-slash-museum… a Zooseum, if you will—the latest venture from the notoriously generous and known eccentric, Wiggy Silverbottom. Pack your best khaki shorts and poop scoop, as you embark to the tranquil Silverbottom Park, on the County’s hairiest journey to date, ahead of the full Zooseum release later this winter.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]The County’s very own Kudoshillionaire, Wiggy, has, ahem, once again (!!) gotten himself in a spot of trouble with the local council, something to do with chopper licenses (this time). He needs a hand setting up an educational rehabilitation centre for wildlife from the troubled Farflung Isles. [/p][p][/p][p]This new museum, which you’ll set up in one of Wiggy’s drafty stately manor parks, is all yours*! Curators (or should we say, keepers?) can now start working up to the first star in Silverbottom Park, as part of the Zooseum Taster! This content is a permanent addition to Two Point Museum’s base game, complete with all its warts and claws.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Have questions about our latest DLC, Two Point Museum: Zooseum? If you want to skip to the full changelist, it’s below.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Zooseum Taster
[p]Gather your best khaki shorts and poop scoop, as you embark on the County’s hairiest journey to date. Fantastic news for you, curators! You can now prepare to be a force for nature early, in anticipation of the whole Zooseum adventure dropping later this winter.[/p][p][/p][p]The full Zooseum DLC releases December 2nd for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow in Q1 2026.[/p][p][/p][p]The Zooseum free taster content includes:[/p]
 • [p]A new museum location, where you’ll set up your Zooseum in the beautiful Silverbottom Park, and explore the campaign up to the first star[/p]
 • [p]Discover 3 Points of Interest on the new Expedition Map, Farflung Isles[/p]
 • [p]Build two new animal-related rooms[/p]
 • [p]Create new workshop items[/p]
 • [p]Unlock new decor[/p]
 • [p]Rehabilitate three Habitat Animals alongside four Tearrium critters![/p]
 • [p]All other Stars in the campaign and Points of Interest, along with their associated objectives and items, will require the complete Zooseum DLC, which opens later this winter.[/p]
[p]To explore the Zooseum campaign and embark to Silverbottom Park, you’ll need to have completed Memento Mile Act 1, our lovely city location. Or if you can’t wait, you can jump into hairy mayhem from the get-go, in sandbox mode.[/p]

Quality of Life Changes

New High-Level Curator Class Rewards
[p]We heard you loud and clear, Curators! The well-seasoned explorers amongst you will be glad to hear that new Curator-Class rewards are up for grabs to reward you for your continued efforts in the higher levels of museum management.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]These lovely rewards will automatically unlock for those of you who have gone above and beyond in the realm of mayhem management. If you’re working towards your museum legacy, the new rewards are seen at Curator Class 7 and 8.[/p]

Aquarium Capacity
[p]For another heavily requested change, the calculations that run under the filter in your Aquariums have been rejigged, which has changed the capacities for fish in your aquariums. We heard from Curators across the County that smaller aquariums were feeling a bit sparse, so while minimum-sized aquariums are not affected, the room size required to reach a capacity of 4 fish and above has been reduced. [/p][p][/p]
Overhaul to the Exhibit Inspector
[p]No longer will you scratch your head, wondering “why oh why are my fish not happy?”! We’ve overhauled the exhibit inspector UI, making everything clearer and easier to grab top-level information quickly. This is especially true for your Polterguest, Marine Life and new Animal Exhibits, where you’ll be able to see what’s bothering them much more easily using the new sub-tabs available, alongside changes to the text and layout.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p]As usual, this update also comes with a load of bug fixes, improvements and optimisation changes.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you all (again!) for providing feedback, sending us your ideas, reporting bugs and giving us suggestions for new content. If you’d like to send us your thoughts for future content or updates, or show us your fab museums, here’s the place to do that:[/p][p][/p][p]DiscordTikTokBlueSkyTwitterInstagramFacebook[/p][p]Happy curating, Pointians! [/p][p](P.S. One of the best things you can do to help support the studio is to leave a Steam Review! If you’ve tried your hand at curating, we’d love to hear your feedback. Thank you!)[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
CHANGELOG
[p]Number of changes: 19[/p][p] Inspired by the community: 71%

Nominate us for "Sit Back and Relax"! ✨

[p]Hey Curators![/p][p]It’s that wonderful time of year again, where we get to show some love to our favourite games in the Steam Awards! While Two Point Museum is packed with silly humour and the thrill of discovery, we truly think it shines when it comes down to cozy creative vibes, which is why we’d be ecstatic if you could nominate us in the “Sit Back And Relax” category.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Why does Two Point Museum feel like your ultimate chill curation corner?

Cozy curation and customisation 🖌️
[p][/p][p]In Two Point Museum, you’ve an entire tool belt full of customisation options, whether that’s changing your museum’s floors and walls (for free, we might add!) or colour-matching every item to have ‘branding on point’ across your museum’s theme.[/p][p]There’s something incredibly calming about laying out a new museum wing, carefully positioning every prehistoric fern, potentially melting iceman, and dinosaur bones wherever you see fit.[/p][p][/p]
We champion accessible management~ ✨
[p][/p][p]”Management simulator” is a scary sounding genre, and so we strive to be an accessible entry into the world of strategy, simulation and management. Our tutorialisation eases you into curating your own chaos, with each new museum location, and star, bringing fresh challenges in your curation journey.[/p][p]Each new act presents fresh challenges, but they’re introduced in a way that feels manageable and never overwhelming. As you unlock new tools to keep staff happy, and your exhibits safe, you watch your museum grow from a dusty hall, to a bustling hub full of Pointians, it’s very satisfying, don’t you think?[/p]
Keeps your eyes, and ears, happy 🎶
[p]It wouldn’t be a Two Point game without our signature Two Point Radio, complete with it’s weird and wonderful ensemble of DJs, bringing you only the finest segments (and sometimes rants) between the wonderfully whimsical soundtrack that provides the perfect backdrop to your museum-building endeavours. [/p][p]Coupled with the vibrant, cartoon art style of Two Point Museum, when coupled with a cup of tea, creates the perfect cozy night-in. Of course, we have to keep you on your toes with our in-game tannoy, who’s sarc-y humour gives you (mostly) useful reminders, contributing to the overall ✨aesthetic✨ of the game which we all know and love.[/p][p][/p]

[p]So, if you’re looking for the kind of game to draw you in, allowing you to escape the everyday, and dive into a world of exploration, curation and design, then Two Point Museum is the title for you.
