Resources & Corruption
Today we are going to take a look at the two most important statistics you will need to track in the game: Resources and Corruption:

When you attack a region, its resource bar will be full, but its corruption bar will be empty. This means that the machines in that region are at full power, but they have just started to corrupt it, so you still have time to eradicate them before the region is lost.
Corruption
The main way the machines spread corruption is through the "Terraformer": a large drill that sucks the life energy out of the earth and uses it to transform the land into a new, alien form. The drill becomes more powerful the more buildings are built around it, so make sure you never let the machines build too many outposts!

Keep an eye on the amount of corruption in the region, or your beautiful world will turn into an alien landscape where you cannot live. The amount of corruption also directly affects the amount of rewards you receive. Depending on the region, the maximum number of rewards is either 3, 4 or 5.
You are guaranteed to get at least one reward if you win (even if the corruption is 99%!). But if it reaches 100%, not only will you not get a reward - you will lose the game! A lost region means that the corruption has reached the core of your world, which is the source of your and Gaia's power. Without it, neither of you can survive.
For each reward you earn, you have at least three options to pick from. Choose wisely!
Resources
The machines have a finite amount of resources to use in each region. Your goal is to deplete them before the region is lost to corruption. You do this by destroying their buildings and units. The closer you get to the machines' capital, the more resources your enemies will have at their disposal and the harder it will be for you to win.
The machines can also use refineries or matter converters to generate additional resources. It is crucial that you find and destroy them quickly. But be careful - the Matter Converter will cause a lot of corruption if it is destroyed during matter processing! Wait until it's being refilled (it is harmless during that time) or be prepared to use your powers to clean up the ecological disaster.
Conclusion
As you can see, your fight won't be easy. But don't worry, if you build up your arsenal of spells properly, you'll have an answer for every threat the machines can throw at you! Keep an eye out for more posts like this - there is a lot to cover:
Azzinoth, god of fire and destruction
Nadea, goddes of water and life
