Dark Hours DEMO, the Steam Next Fest update!

We're thrilled to announce you that Dark Hours received a major update to be ready for Steam Next Fest!

Once again, your feedback has been the fuel driving our improvements in this demo.

Here are some of the major improvements and new features included in this update:
  • Added a solo game mode.
  • Localization support for Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
  • Players can now slide.
  • Continued improvements to the Hidebehind AI
  • Global lighting improvement

  • ADD: Player names are visible when close
  • ADD: Players can now slide
  • Improvement: tweaking access for stealing from bags
  • Revive: Fixed issue where reviving while crawling would cause players to fall through the ground.
  • Revive: Fix interaction issue
  • Lockers: Fixed an issue where knocked-out players in lockers could be blocked by another player when they woke up.
  • Sprint: Fixed issue where player can’t stop sprinting
  • Death Timer: Reviving a player now stops their death timer.

  • Add: Solo mode.

  • Add: Sound to alarm triggers, closing doors, safes, and more.

  • Improvement: Lighting.
  • Light: Fixed issues.
  • Lobby: Fixed issues where players leaving the lobby during countdown affected others who were ready.
  • Security Cameras: Multiple players can now interact.
  • Sound Improvement: Heartbeat sound adjusted.
  • Fixed: AZERTY keyboard was not applied correctly in options.

[h3]Monsters:[/h3]
  • Update Monster Behavior: Monsters can now teleport in front of the player when pursuing.
  • Door: Monsters can now open doors.
  • Monster Adjustment: Monsters return to the observation phase after catching a player.
  • Stuck in Walls: Players are no longer stuck in walls when grabbed by the HB.
  • VFX: Monster VFX improvement.

  • Mini-Game: Reworked interface.
  • Resized: UI elements.
  • Add: Sound UI for objectives and tips.
  • Tutorial Tips: Updated UI and sound.
  • Security Camera: Updated UI.
