[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
  • Ejection Fix: Fixed a bug where a player could lose control and could no longer control either their camera or character after being ejected.
  • Boss Contract Fix: When we fail a heist, the boss will not be able to give back the map we just lost on for a retry heist.
  • Dead screen Fix: Fixed a bug where the text "you are dead" would not display under certain conditions for clients.

[h3]Monsters[/h3]
  • Monsters & doors Fix: Fixed a very specific case where monsters could still pass through closed doors.
  • Trickster Demon Box MOD: The Trickster Demon's boxes no longer appear in the vaults of the auction house or the museum.
  • Mummy & Taser: The Taser now immobilizes the mummy for a few seconds.

[h3]LD[/h3]
  • Table in Casino's Vault ADD: Add some tables for hiding in the Casino's vault.
  • Laser Fix: Fix a bug where the client sometimes couldn't see the laser
  • Items Sounds Updated: Update of hit sounds for many objects
  • Air vent Fix:Fixed a bug where players sometimes couldn't enter an airvent when another player was already inside.
  • Kitchen Chairs Mod: Replaced the static chairs in the kitchen with movable ones.
  • Alarm Auction House: Fixed a bug where the alarms in the boudoir in the auction house had disappeared.
  • Lockpad Color Updated: The lockpad now changes color when the door is unlocked.
  • Vault Plasma wall Updated: Changed the color of the plasma wall upon its first activation

[h3]Lobby[/h3]
  • Basket Board Fix: Fixed a bug where the basketball hoop was validated even though it shouldn't have been.
  • Lobby Interface Updated: The game launch interface has been redesigned.

[h3]General[/h3]
  • Lunar New Year & Valentine' day Cosmetics: Removal of Lunar New Year & Valentine's Day cosmetics from the shop
  • Tranquilizer gun collision Fix: Fixed the collisions of the tranquilizer gun that could send other players flying when thrown at them.
  • Difficulty Improvement: Changed the number of items available in the van based on the difficulty
  • Back to van Blackscreen: Fixed a bug where the black screen intended between the exit door and the van would not appear.

Notes:
  • Quickplay: Due to the number of new players (welcome!), the quickplay service may occasionally go down. We are actively working on fixing this, we might solve this tomorrow! Thank you for your understanding & sorry for the inconvenience!

  • Interact Fix: Fixed a bug where the player could lose interaction feedback after being caught by the Trickster.
  • Computer interactable: Adjusted the interaction to access the computer in the operation center or control room.

[h3]Monsters[/h3]
  • Statue performance solved: Fixed a performance issue when the statues were blocked and idling.

[h3]LD[/h3]
  • All maps checked: We have checked all maps and improve few spawners positions for Trickster cards.
  • Items not collectable Fix: Sometimes, certain keys were not collectible when they were on a barrel in the parking lot. This has been fixed.
  • Smallsafe softlock Fix: Fixed a bug where it was possible to get stuck between the wall and the door of small safes.
  • Navigation Patio Fix: Fixed a bug preventing monsters from passing through certain doors leading to the patio
  • Casino's Camera Fix: Fixed a bug where surveillance cameras would sometimes pass through walls.
  • Casino's lockers ADD: It is now possible for lockers to spawn in the Casino's machine warehouse.
  • Lootsafe Casino Add: It is now possible for medium and large loot safes to spawn in the operation center.
  • Paper code Fix: Fixed a bug where, on a specific Casino map, it spawned inside the vault.
  • Auction house Fix: Fixed a bug where, specifically on map 1473621888, the button to open the electric room gate was missing.

[h3]UI[/h3]
  • Back to main menu Fix: Fixed a bug where the 'Back to Main Menu' button did not work for the player being the host


Notes:
  • Quickplay: Due to the number of new players (welcome!), the quickplay service may occasionally go down. We are actively working on fixing this, we might solve this tomorrow! Thank you for your understanding & sorry for the inconvenience!
  • Input lobby Fix: We should have fixed a bug where players had no inputs after returning to the lobby. If that's not the case, feel free to let us know.
  • Lunar New Year & Valentine's Day Customization: We will lock the special Lunar New Year & Valentine's Day customizations in the next hotfix, so hurry up and get them before they're gone!

Dark Hours hits a new Concurrent Player Record, our servers felt the heat!

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update to share some exciting news: this weekend, an incredible number of you played Dark Hours, and we wanted to say a huge thank you! You even managed to break the concurrent player record, reaching nearly 1,842 players on Sunday — a milestone that hadn’t been surpassed since the game’s launch.

That’s just amazing, and we truly appreciate your support!


We also want to inform you that our backend servers, which manage quickplay matchmaking, experienced a surge in traffic over the weekend. As a result, some of you may have encountered downtime. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience. We did our best over the weekend to keep things running and are now working on solutions to scale our servers capacity to handle this massive wave of players.

  • Light objects push: Objects weighing less than 0.5kg can no longer push buttons or players
  • Golden tag FIX: Fix of a bug that correctly retrieves the 'Golden Lead' tag when a player pushes another
  • Ballon Crash Fix: Fixed a bug causing players to crash when they tried to fill a balloon in a sink
  • Lockdoor Code: Fixed a bug preventing players from entering the Lockdoor code using a controller or the E key on the keyboard
  • Lift a gate Fix: The animation for raising the gate is now in the correct position and will less likely block other players' passage

[h3]Monster[/h3]
  • Trickster Card FIX: It was possible to retrieve the Trickster card through the gate when it was in the hand of a statue in the auction house, but this is no longer possible now
  • Trickster Demon Music Modifie:
    - Added phases during the QTE acceleration
    - Implementation of Rush E as the QTE music for the Trickster Demon
  • Trickster animation: Removed the visual of held objects during the Trickster's kill animation.
  • Fix sound loop: Hidebehind and Statue had a bug causing an infinite loop of their sound, which has been fixed.

[h3]Animation[/h3]
  • Taser Fix: Fixed a bug where the client could not see the taser animation playing

[h3]LD[/h3]
  • Furniture Casino: Adding paintings on the hallway walls
  • Optimizations:
    - Optimization pass related to the shadows of the furniture present in the casino environment
    - Reduced the number of chairs in certain rooms of the casino
  • Central desk Operation room: Centered the central desk in the Operation room to prevent spawns that were too close to a wall, which could interfere with navigation
  • Light Staff Parking FIX: Fix of lights overlapping with other assets in the parking lot
  • Broken speakers:
    - The speakers of a broken camera no longer work when it is destroyed
    - Fixed collisions when a camera is destroyed
    - Improved the sound modification applied to the speakers
  • Double wall Auction House: Fixed a bug where two walls were overlapping in the exhibition room of the auction house

[h3]UI[/h3]
  • Golden tag FIX: Fix of a bug that correctly retrieves the 'Golden Lead' tag when a player pushes another
  • Gamemode at start FIX: Fix of a bug where the default game mode offered first was "Golden Tag" instead of "Heist"
  • Teambag in Lobby FIX: Fix of a bug that allowed players to throw items into the team bag in the lobby


Known bug: It is possible that if you return to the lobby immediately after a game with the Trickster Demon, you may have no inputs, become stuck and unable to move in the lobby. It can last few minutes, or you will need to restart the game
