  • Repeated Monster on Different Maps: Fixed a regression that would allow a monster to spawn twice in a row on 2 different missions.

[h3]LD[/h3]
  • Unsync PCG Fix: Resolved issue where the generation would use the auction house instead of a museum for some players while other where in museum, causing some players to be spawned in a map without walls and weird positions for environment elements.
  • Auction House 248955264 Fix: Fixed Auction House seed 248955264 with missing elements from generation.
  • Museum 439716566 Fix: Fixed Museum seed 439716566, that was removed in the patch #21 because of a missing exit key. This layout is known to be special: don't hesitate to pass through the exit room to explore the rest of the museum.
  • All maps rechecked: We have rechecked all maps to be sure there is no softlock with keys or fuses, and we will publish tomorrow a maps guide in our Steam Community Discussions if you struggle to find them!

[h3]Interface[/h3]
  • Game Mode Display Fix: As a client of a game, if you joined a new lobby and your last played game was Golden Tag game mode, you would see the game mode as Golden Tag instead of Heist. Now fixed, you see the right game mode set by the host of the lobby.
  • Rule Out Parameter Fix: fixed non-working Rule Out parameter for monsters in the lobby settings

  • Gamepad navigation Improvements: Better handling of gamepad navigation in the menus.

[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
  • Freezing Improvements:
    - Resolved bugs where frozen interactions could break improperly or fail to work when combined with snapped interactions.
    - Improved synchronization for freezing material dissolution effects and updated its visuals.
    - Fixed cold steam VFX issues.

[h3]Monsters[/h3]
  • Stone Stalkers AI Improvements:
    - Statue no longer locks in front of a vent when a player is inside. It will be back on patrol if it cannot see the player.
    - Increased statue sight radius to accommodate larger rooms, such as the Exposition Room.
  • Mummy Improvements:
    - Mummy is no longer stunned indefinitely by fire extinguisher.
    - Fixed an issue where being killed by the mummy could eject the player’s body out of the level.
  • Banshee Adjustments:
    - Reworked teleportation mechanics to prevent teleportation abuse and improve overall experience against it.

[h3]Level Design (LD)[/h3]
  • Security Camera Fix: Fixed a bug where the room name wouldn’t appear for a client using the security camera if their map generation completed before the host.
  • Collision and Navigation Fixes:
    - Fixed corner pillar collision in the Egyptian Antiquities level to prevent softlocks.
    - Fixed navigation issues caused by light switch spawn heights on large doors.
    - Adjusted circuit breaker lights to prevent them from facing walls inappropriately.
  • Loot Object Updates:
    - Resolved an issue where items on pedestal could reset their scale when placed.

[h3]Interface[/h3]
  • Loading UI Fix: Addressed an issue where the loading UI could remain on-screen during gameplay.
  • Gamepad UI Updates:
    - Updated input icons for the emote wheel and key mappings (up/left/down/right) when using a gamepad.
    - Resolved issues where the emote/tag wheel didn’t function properly in certain menus and was misaligned on gamepads.
  • Lobby Improvements:
    - Player lists in the lobby are now sorted alphabetically, with the host displayed first.
    - Added a crown icon for the lobby host.
  • Loot localization: Fixed the title for the Egyptian Pot 4 loot object.
  • Connection Error Popup Improvements:
    - Replaced the Steam services error screen at startup with a smaller warning icon.
    - Resolved a bug where a connection error window appeared for clients when the host returned to the menu.

  • Golden Tag Game Mode Fixes: Fixed an issue where Golden Tag Mode defaulted to a 10-second duration if no parameters were edited on first play.
  • Lobby Code Improvement: Fixed random lobby code generation to avoid getting joined by players having your lobby code from a previous game.

  • Curse and Gold Effects: Curse and gold effects are now visible on the FPS view.
  • Mummy Screamer Visual: Updated the screamer mummy with a ghostly shader for added visual impact.

Hello everyone,

After an intense week of releasing the major update, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays! It seems like the perfect time to do some heists and betray each other... in the Christmas spirit, of course!

The entire team will also be taking two weeks off to enjoy the holidays, recharge, and come back full of energy for 2025. As a result, follow-ups on the Steam forums and Discord will be lighter than usual!
