  • [p]Laser Eye Attack: Full Rework: It now aims in a fixed direction instead of choosing a random one each wave. Several numerical values have been adjusted for better balance.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the RNG for Attacks the player find in Shop[/p]
  • [p]Wormator Character: now affects the behavior of many attacks such as Bar-Bar, Laser Eye, Yoyo, Spring Punch or Whip[/p]
  • [p]Serpent Chain Item: similarly to Wormator, it affects the behavior of many attacks[/p]
  • [p]Many of those “Snake affected Attack” can now also be affected by “Orbit Speed” stat at the same time[/p]
  • [p]These changes add a lot of depth to existing content and allow for some crazy new builds[/p]
  • [p]Wormator Character: change most of the starter attacks[/p]
  • [p]Improved the hitbox of all spiders characters: Arakna & Centilegs playable Character + Spider Minions. Centilegs was the only playable character with a punishing hitbox, but that’s now been improved for a smoother experience.[/p]
  • [p]Bar-Bar Attack: in addition to Amount scaling, the base count of projectiles went from 3 to 3/4/5/6[/p]
  • [p]Blastolier: now scales with Amount[/p]
  • [p]Enemy contact damage are now disabled for a brief moment after they appear[/p]
  • [p]Laser Eye/Liquidator: Lasers are now also affected by Transparent Attacks setting[/p]
  • [p]Grimorius Character: can now only equip Attacks scaling with Arcane Damage[/p]
  • [p]Belzebuth Character: improved the in-game tooltip to avoid confusion[/p]
  • [p]Oblivion Spitter: faster fire rate, more damage, no more knockback[/p]
  • [p]Improved the rendering of Slash Attacks/Projectiles[/p]
  • [p]Enhancement: 2 of the new items introduced in 10.0 required to be displayed “One slot per item” in the inventory for technical reasons, I improved/reworked the systems so it doesn’t need this anymore[/p]

  • [p]Heart Earrings Item blue => green[/p]
  • [p]Fame Item rework (now a white item and provide additional effects)[/p]

  • [p]Bugfix: Pickaxe Attack could display a “at the end of wave 17” (a specific wave number) instead of “at the end of wave N+4” in the Start Run menu[/p]
  • [p]Bugfix: during the first run in an app session, if the player level up during the very first wave, the reroll price of the Level Upgrade was costing 0 due to a recent change[/p]
  • [p]Bugfix: Amputation Item could be exploited to gain infinite Souls using the Resume Run feature[/p]

  • [p]NEW CHARACTER: Magnebro (34th playable character available in the game) [/p]
  • [p]NEW ATTACK: Bar-Bar: Creates a projectile bar attached to you that deals contact damage (scales well with Amount, Size, Orbit Speed and/or Arcane Damage)[/p]
  • [p]NEW ITEM: Chest Express (unlocked by default, white item, you find a chest at the beginning of next wave)[/p]
  • [p]NEW ITEM: Glass Heart (unlocked by default, white item, Gives HP Max and Damage but starts next wave with less HP)[/p]

  • [p](it means if you already win a run in D5 with Vilethorn in previous version, you should automatically get the achievement when lauching the game updated to version 10.0+ for the first time)[/p]
[p]ENHANCEMENTS:[/p]
  • [p]“Unique and Upgradable” Attacks buff/rework: the upgrades now costs only 50% of their price. It makes those attacks more economically viable, same for Behemoth character For example: if you find a Green “Impact” Skill and you already had a white tier Impact equipped (meaning buying the green upgrade will just upgrade your existing attack) it will cost 20 souls instead of 40.[/p]
  • [p]Behemoth Character: now also gives +1 Synergy Level for all your equipped synergies (example: even if you have only 1 Air Attack, it counts as 2)[/p]
  • [p]Soul Harvest Stat: at the end of the wave, there is now a texts that pop ups and tell how many souls were gained or lost via the Soul Harvest Stat[/p]
  • [p]Melee Weapons: rework all systems and the procedural animation logic to massively improve the game feel of sweeping weapons like Axes, Pickaxe and Golden Touch Hammer[/p]
  • [p]Overboy Character is now unlocked after unlocking 30 characters (previously it required unlocking all other characters first)[/p]
  • [p]Laser Eye: is now affected by Orbit Speed Stat[/p]
  • [p]Nihil Character: added Laser Eye as a Start Attack[/p]
  • [p]Air Synergy: (2) +10% Speed (even if for now this is a brand new family with only 1 upgradable attack, this synergy effect can still be obtained using different combination of effects, example: pandark character that obtains max synergy levels)[/p]
  • [p]Wizard Synergy: (3) +1 Arcane Damage => +2[/p]
  • [p]Cloud Attack: can’t knockback enemies anymore: this actually makes this attack more powerful because due to its specific pattern, it had a tendency to knockback enemies towards the player with a high frequency (damages were triggered super often)[/p]
  • [p]Pickaxe Attack: Destroyed after 3 Waves => Destroyed after 4 waves[/p]
  • [p]Heroic Noobs now drop more golden souls and regular souls[/p]
  • [p]Steamdeck-specific tweaks and improvements[/p]
  • [p]Bugfix: Wraithshot could bug when triggered while no enemies were alive[/p]

  • [p]Endless Mode: Items limit are now more permissive: you can now equip 10x the same items by default, that limit raises as you progress through the endless waves and it can even be removed in extreme situations[/p]
  • [p]By default, uncollected pickups don’t persist between waves anymore (except Chest), however there is now a new “Persistent Loot” item that allows to do it[/p]
  • [p]Mage with Staff (Noob Enemy): new pattern: now shoots 3 projectiles in a row[/p]
  • [p]Vampiric Hit Item => Holy Hit Item: the old name didn’t make sense since 0.8 rework, so this item is now called Holy Hit and has a new icon[/p]

Patch 0.7.0: New Attack + Enhancements + Thanks

[p]Early Access - Update 7.0 - New Attack + Enhancements (1 August 2025)[/p]
  • [p]New Attack: Spike Wall Skil: At the start of the wave, you can trace a line of Spikes in your Dungeon Room by moving, based on your Duration stat (Upgradable, Skill, Trap, Spike tags, scales with Dexterity Damage, this attack is unlocked by default)[/p]
  • [p]New Button in Settings: Restore Progress: it automatically gives you all in-game achievements matching the Steam achievements you unlocked
    This shouldn’t be necessary to use as the save system is robust, but if you lose your save file for any reason at some point (like if you deleted it by mistake, or if you forgot to enable steam cloud and want to recover your progress on a different computer), now you can at least unlock everything you already unlocked before just by pressing a button.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Singleplayer Shop: now display some shortcuts to select the “Go” Button (bottom-right)[/p]
  • [p]Attack Slot is now displayed in Secondary Stats (it is now also clear that the maximum Attack Slot count a player can have is set to 16) [/p]
  • [p]In endless mode, if the player manages to buy almost all available items in the shop at maximum stack, the limit of 8x the same items is removed.[/p]
  • [p]Nihil Character: can now start with Water Orbit Attack (as it scales really well with Orbit Speed Stat)[/p]

  • [p]Bugfix: The recent enhancement that avoids Free Reroll gained from Items to be wasted when using the Free Reroll provided when buying the 4 items in the Shop accidentally gave an additional Free Reroll (cleaning the shop gave 2 rerolls instead of 1), it is now working as expected[/p]
[p]Early Access - Hotfix Update 7.3 (2 August 2025)[/p]
  • [p]Minor spacing tweaks in some menu[/p]
  • [p]Bugfix: The Steam Achievement (not the in-game achievement) was broken for "Killer of Demon Hunter" Character in update 7.0 due to a very specific edgecase after a minor change to a function, it means that people who unlocked that in-game achievement during the past few hours did unlock the in-game reward but not the Steam Achievement.[/p]

  • [p]Tremedously improved the co-op experience (Shared Souls/Chests/XP options, tons of QOL improvement, great support of any controller configurations on all platforms)[/p]
  • [p]Reworked tons of Equipable Attacks and Playable Characters (Minions, Plants, Kickable builds and many of the other innovations the game brings to the genre are now better balanced, polished, and funnier to play)[/p]
  • [p]Most of the very niche and device-specific issues that were only affecting 1/2% of users are solved, a huge priority was put to provide personnalized support for anyone who faced annoying issues (and it will continue to be the case if some still exists as soon as i'm back from holidays!)[/p]
