1.5.0 — BETA UPDATED
Ahoy!
[p][/p][p]We’ve updated the beta! ːburning_flamesː[/p]
[/p][p]Coming soon.[/p]
- [p]Tons of bugs and rough edges have been fixed. Thanks for all your reports — we read everything.[/p]
- [p]Charles de Maure’s character model now has broader shoulders.[/p]
- [p]Threat level from nations and pirates is now displayed on the world map.[/p]
- [p]Fort siege mechanics have been reworked — wall bombardment now deals damage to forts. This makes first-rate ships a true force in sieges, allows lower-rank squadrons to participate effectively, and strengthens AI performance during fortress assaults. The new first-person aiming system also greatly increases fort damage — targeting wall cannons not only destroys the guns but also deals splash damage to the fort walls.[/p]
- [p]Main characters now receive a starting bonus of +30 HP to reduce early-game reloads caused by getting shot in the face.[/p]
- [p]Several UI elements now adapt to your screen resolution — for example, names on the world map.[/p]
- [p]The prologue now features a prototype of a new tutorial mechanic. Please give it another run. It’s crucial we catch any issues, because if the system proves effective, we’ll turn it into a full-fledged quest and deadline tracker.[/p]
- [p]Punitive fleets have been added. At high threat levels, nations will send their top hunters after you. [/p]
- [p]In story mode: “El Cazador”.[/p]
- [p]In freeplay mode: “El Cazador”, “Meifeng”, “Chimera”, and “Griffondor”.[/p]
