For those who haven't been following: the Ships Pack DLC series is dedicated to legendary captains and ships of the Caribbean Sea, connected by one tragic and even terrifying story. When the final, fifth Ships Pack releases — the full picture will come together.

• You can start even at character level one — access GWIC services without much trouble, and save the boss fight for late game.

• Upgrade a ship without spending strategic goods? Also easy. And then go to capital shipwrights and updade her again, the usual way.

• Pirate logs have three different tiers. You can be a bounty hunter and sell them to HWIC, or you can use the wisdom they contain yourself.

As for patch 1.7... This will be the penultimate major patch. It will NOT require a new game. It will add new story content, improve land AI, and completely rethink how stealth works in the game. And that's far from the complete list — you'll see everything soon.
