GLUM is officially stomping its way into Early Access on May 22nd, and we couldn’t be more excited (or moderately terrified) to unleash this chaotic little goblin into your hands.

Over the past months, we’ve been testing, tweaking, and occasionally breaking things in spectacularly stupid ways. Thanks to the absolute legends in our Discord community, we’ve squashed bugs, fine-tuned our glorious ragdoll physics, and even thrown in a brand-new boss fight (OMG they said the word). Plus, for those of you with a keen sense of fashion — yes, we've added new boot cosmetics, because your foot deserves to look fabulous while it's embedded in someone’s face šŸ‘¢

[h3]What to Expect From Early Access[/h3]

Early Access isn’t just a label for us - it’s a promise. A promise that we’re gonna keep building this weird, loud, hilarious world with you. The game might be smaller in the beginning, but will grow significantly larger from every update!

We already have some cool stuff cooking for the first updates post-launch, and a roadmap is coming any day now! Until then, we’ve gathered some relevant FAQ’s for you, so you’ll know what to look forward to on the 22nd šŸ’„

How much will the game cost?
  • During the Early Access period, the game will cost approximately $12.49 USD.
  • There will be a 20% launch discount.
What will the Early Access build include?
  • The first world of Glum’s journey where you will find wacky enemy interactions, goofy collectibles, trials, a main hub and much more. You can expect around 1-3 hours of gameplay at launch.
When can we expect the first major update?
  • We are aiming for Summer 2025
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
  • During Early Access we will be implementing new biomes, enemies, abilities and systems based on our internal roadmap as well as community feedback.
  • With every major update, the game will increase significantly in content and playtime.
What are some of the bigger changes since the Steam Next Fest Demo?
  • The entirety of the first level is available with objectives and a new companion has been added to increase narrative coherence.
  • Boot cosmetics and progression system for future ability and basic combat enhancements.
  • New exploration elements, tweaks and polish based on user feedback.
  • A new wacky boss fight.
  • And much more.
