DCS: Marianas brings you a modern day representation of this island chain, including Andersen AFB and other military facilities. The Marianas serve as a critical power projection anchor point for the United States in the western Pacific. DCS: Marianas WWII recreates the islands as they were in the summer of 1944 with authentic airfields, structures, and terrain for World War II operations. The Mariana Islands was the setting for the historic battles between the United States and Imperial Japan that included the invasions of Guam, Saipan, and Tinian, as well as the critical Battle of the Philippine Sea.[/p][p]Since launch, both maps have seen major updates to terrain, textures, airfields, cities, ports, and vegetation.
