Tank Killer
A-10C II Tank Killer

Released to Open Beta
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuVNLaH2i5Q

DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer adds new weapons such as; the Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System (APKWS), AGM-65L laser-Maverick, and GBU-54 laser-guided JDAM. A completely remodelled cockpit with options for factory-fresh and weathered textures. The “Scorpion” system used to train the 355th Wing cadets and the updated external model now set the bar for our future releases.

We have updated the preset key commands for HOTAS hardware to make new users feel more comfortable learning this in-depth system. The fully interactive Forward Air Controller (FAC) will also help you find and engage enemy targets, cooperative target engagement has been taken to a new level.

With the improved ability to command ground forces, the vast number of land, air and sea units as well as feature-rich cooperative missions and head-to-head multiplayer; We are proud to say this is the most realistic model ever done for PC simulation.

Pricing Policy
DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer is available now for $79.99. If you own DCS: A-10C Warthog, you can upgrade to DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer for only $9.99 until the 31st of October 2020. After that, the upgrade will cost $19.99.

The upgrade option and module are both available on Steam now.

A new addition to the renowned A-10C is the Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS). It provides excellent situational awareness and the ability to cue weapons and sensors by just looking at the target and setting a designation. Please note that this is not the same helmet implementation as for the Viper and Hornet systems; it is in many ways far superior.
Supercarrier

Development Progress
We are currently working on the animation engine capabilities. We have added additional animations to vary operations phases on-board DCS: Supercarrier. A new skeleton that better matches human anatomy is in progress, this will improve realistic deck crew movement.

We are also working on improving the catapult launch animation for the DCS: F/A-18C Hornet pilot. The hand models have been corrected whilst we continue to develop Nomex® flight gloves. We are also using highly detailed 3D scanning technology to better model the pilot for point-of-view experience. When complete, the CWU-27 / p Flight Suit and the CSU-13 / p Anti-G Suit will be available.

A-10C II Tank Killer
Development Update
DCS: A-10 II Tank Killer is currently undergoing a lengthy closed testing period to ensure accuracy, stability, and a smooth launch. We continue to improve the Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS) indicators, add more skins and mission content, and tune flight model changes. We encourage you to get familiar with the new weapon systems to hit the ground running.

This update is being developed in parallel with the A-10C VR Training Software for the 355th Fighter Wing.

In this video we introduce the primary features of this substantial update and instruct on the use of the AGM-65L laser-guided Maverick. The Laser-Maverick provides excellent range and ease-of-use to lock onto a target by using the targeting pod.

GBU-54 LJDAM
Development Progress
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyVIss-EcSg
The GBU-54 is a 500-pound bomb with options for INS/GPS and laser-homing guidance. It can be loaded on all 1760 smart racks.

While INS/GPS allows launch-and-leave and the ability to engage through cloud and smoke cover, the laser-guidance provides increased accuracy and can engage moving targets. It’s up to you to determine the best guidance based on the engagement.

AGR-20A APKWS
Development Progress
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spLvR97LlNA
The Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) is a cost-effective method of engaging unarmored and lightly armored targets based on pinpoint laser-guidance. Both M-151 high-explosive and M-282 penetration warhead versions are available with seven rockets per each LAU-131 rocket pod. With a range of approximately 5 miles, the APKWS offers accurate firepower.

Get a grip on how to use the APKWS with DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer Laser-Guided Rockets.
