Night Operations Gameplay Teaser

[p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]In preparation for the upcoming public multiplayer stress-test, take a look at the latest update of the closed testing - Night Operations. Featuring night vision devices (PVS-14) and tactical modules for the weapons, including laser sights and lights (WIP).

While the day-night cycle is a major part of the Operation game mode featured on the Battle of Izium and future Operation maps, a brand new dedicated game mode was implemented to highlight special forces gameplay. Instead of contesting for the strategic objectives, in Night Operations, you experience a raid-like gameplay: spawning in an infiltration position with your squad, proceeding to task execution, then exfiltrating. Tasks are featured in the new dedicated tab in the inventory and could be received either from Vendors on the HQ or from the game mode and the map context.[/p][p]Tasks are also featured in the Operation game mode to introduce more narrative and operational variety to the gameplay on the large maps.

The team is working to deliver all these stunning features within the public multiplayer stress-test soon, so follow the upcoming updates.

Early Access on Steam - Launch date and Roadmap

We're thrilled to announce that Glory to the Heroes will be available as Early Access in Q4 2025! Dive into the action of true modern warfare and help shape the game's future with your feedback.

In addition, Early Access will be shipped with support for multiple text and UI localizations. The full list of supported languages and more details on Early Access will be revealed further.

Public Demo 2 V2 - Fights for Krynky | Pre-Alpha 0.0.9.3

Happy New Year!
We are excited to share a glimpse of the new Public Demo V 0.0.9.3 coming publicly free later in January, showcasing the operation of Marine forces in Krynky (2023-2024), and focused on Infantry gameplay.

Playing as a Ukrainian Marine, embark into boats and reach the left bank of the Dnipro river under the attack of enemy FPVs in an attempt to secure staging areas in Krynky.

A significant amount of gameplay and performance improvements have been implemented within this update & tons of new mechanics were developed to accurately highlight the major outstanding aspects of this operation.

This Demo features "Infantry Skirmish" game mode, which is unlike the "Assault Operation" seen in Izium takes the main focus on the Infantry gameplay. While no usable fighting vehicles are presented, squads of Ukrainian Marines face ruthless enemy artillery and the TOS-1a system, which offers no other choices except hiding in the basements for cover.

Pre-Alpha update for closed testing version 0.0.7

The Update
The latest build of version 0.0.7 is currently available for all closed-testing participants.
It adds a new big playable map - Training Area where you can try out the core mechanics of the game, including FPV drone, Artillery, Driving, Building, and more.
Also, reworked suppression and shooting system committed to adding realism and unique experience.

The next update will be considered Pre-alpha version 0.0.8 instead of the previous naming to correctly reflect the game state where the first digit means full release version, the second digit means early access version, and the third digit (Current) - pre-alpha version.

The Demo
A New Public PvE demo on Steam will be available during the winter holidays! Further details will be published close to New Year's Eve. Stay tuned!

Development Brief #1 [September 2023]

What's Dev Brief?
Dev Brief is a new format of monthly updates where we will review new development updates.

[h2]Upcoming events and updated Project Roadmap[/h2]



Here you can familiarize yourself with a fresh Roadmap. Even though we planned an Open Demo on October 2023, we would like to delay it till early November so we can deliver more solid and stable gameplay.

Artillery




Stationary Artillery represented as M777A2 Howitzer is a new gameplay feature committed to delivering real tactics and the feel of a huge battlefield.



In order to operate the Howitzer players (or AI) must group into an artillery crew of Cannoneers, Section Chief, Gunner, Gunner Assist, and Recorder each performing a specific task.
To AIM the gun with Azimuth and Elevation Angle, Gunner or Gunner Assist could use various options such as direct fire or indirect fire using information from other players via Text or Voice Chat, Reconnaissance Drone, or the Tactical Map.



Building and Digging System




The building system is dedicated to allowing players to dynamically build personal fortifications e.g. Fire Points, Covers, or utility items on any location of the map using the Shovel tool.



New Roles System


To highlight the most valuable aspects of gameplay on the big open map we decided to tweak the class system and reinforce it into the Roles System including 10 available roles each responsible for Its specific tasks on the battlefield.



The full list now includes Marksman, Automatic Rifleman, Rifleman, Medic, Assaulter, Light Anti-Tank, Sniper, FPV Operator, Artillery Man and Driver. Each role has It's unique tools, loadout and tasks on the battlefield.

FPV Drone Kamikadze




FPV Drone is basically a remote explosive that could be used against enemy armor, infantry, or fortifications where tubes, RPGs, or hand grenades cannot be used. It's only available for FPV Operator role.



Mortar




Mortar is a new type of weapon in GTTH dedicated to performing indirect fire support similar to Artillery but in a different working range with high mobility.
Mortars could be deployed from SUVs or Supply Trucks by Artillery Man and could be used by two or one operator.

At the moment mortars are still in development, so we will share some gameplay as soon It's done!

New AKs animations




We did a complete overhaul of all the animation sets for AK guns. The overhaul includes brand new Holster\Unholster, Shooting, Jamming, Mag Load & Extraction animations, and the Drum magazine animation set.



15x15km Mariinka Map






For the Upcoming Demo, we preparing a full 1:1 scale map in size of 15 x 15 km of the city of Mariinka situated in the Donetsk region which became a stronghold of ruthless battles since 2014 between the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian Ground forces and pro-Russian LDNR proxy-formations.



To depict the Mariinka battlefield and further locations for Glory To The Heroes as close to real life as possible, our team visited the Donetsk region and nearby frontline cities in August 2023.

We used real heightmap data from Google Maps to recreate the actual landscape and a vast amount of architecture Photoscans taken using photogrammetry during our Donbas trip.

Optics Overhaul




The new optics look for scopes inspired by Squad 6.0 committed to adding more immersion and challenge to the Marksman and Sniper gameplay.



Each scope also has different multiplicity values according to the options of real-life prototypes.

Tactical Map




Tactical Map is a real-time map tool inspired by Ukrainian "Kropyva" and "Delta" software used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to coordinate battlefields. It's available for all Roles. Using the tactical map you can pin custom targets on the battlefield, navigate yourself, and your teammates, coordinate artillery, and explore current situations on the battlefield in real-time.
