Early Access Update #7 - v0.10 Notes

  • [p]Added a new Escape Plan: Heart of Darkness. [/p]
  • [p]Added three new locations: Researcher Camp, Route 86 and Pickett Stadium. [/p]
  • [p]Added a new recruitable survivor. [/p]
  • [p]Added new NPCs. [/p]
  • [p]Added a new Survivor Mission.[/p]
[p][/p][p]To kick off the Heart of Darkness plan, visit 319 Schrader St (entrance), Texway Gas Hart St (entrance), Old Ballard (entrance) or the Bowen St Construction Site (after the first ledge). You may need to go to more than one location to trigger it. After that, the leads are located at Vivaldi's, Fire Station No.13, Mercer High School, Texway Gas Green St, 15 Independence Boulevard and Briarwood Motel and you need to visit 2 locations to unlock the Plan. Hint: visiting all of the locations could be useful...

  • [p]Added new animations for survivors as they walk into a scavenging location.[/p]
  • [p]Added different visuals for different levels of workstations as players upgrade them.[/p]
  • [p]Updated the balancing for the starting barricade health across all shelters and the items that survivors start with in their first shelter.[/p]
  • [p]General graphics optimization to increase performance.[/p]
  • [p]Updated zombie spawns at Texway Gas Hart St, 22 Springwood Drive, Aunty Mae's Truck Stop Diner, Texway Gas Green St, The Hitchpost, Bottle Hill Ruin, Stanton and Sons Meats. [/p]
  • [p]Added additional relationship day log events that only trigger between opposing personality types. Also added more delays between some of the random events like arguing about supplies, pulling weight, etc so that they don't trigger repeatedly too often for the same survivors.[/p]
  • [p]"Missing a loved one" morale influence has now more nuance when it is triggered, depending on the relationship an affected survivor has with the person who died/left.[/p]
  • [p]Updated the day log so that if players select a State in the list, it will show the State's description.[/p]
  • [p]Removed the "Have your say" button from the Main Menu.[/p]
  • [p]Improvements to zombie grabs to reduce the out-of-sync difference between zombie and survivor animations.[/p]
  • [p]Survivors are now immune to being grabbed or taking damage during the sequence when they're leaving a location and the player doesn't have control over them. [/p]
  • [p]Tweaks to character physics to reduce chances of getting stuck falling at various locations.[/p]
  • [p]Tweaks to the hitboxes for the Machete and Spiked Baseball Bat.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where a weapon would auto-equip when players used "Transfer All" into a survivor’s backpack, given some players are unarmed on purpose.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the invisible cover point visual behind the truck before the front door in Victory Meat Processing.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where survivors could vault over a ledge in the wrong direction.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where survivors sometimes became invulnerable while they were walking into a door.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a minor memory leak.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a visual bug to do with a misaligned doorframe in the Abandoned Kosyaire Factory.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed various zombie and level bugs in St Bernadette Hospital.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where zombies could get stuck in windows if survivors pushed them there after a grab/struggle.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where zombies could get stuck running into survivors.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where zombies in the aggressive, searching or frantic searching states stopped being able to sense noise, making it easier for them to lose track of survivors. This also fixes an issue where zombies would turn around before going into the searching state.[/p][p][/p]
