10★ Zoh Shia, 10★ Gogmazios & Special Collaborations!

How goes the hunts? We hope you’re enjoying the latest performance improvements and new content we added with our latest update last week, such as Arch-tempered Arkveld, 10★ monsters and more.[/p][p]In-case you missed it, here’s a breakdown of the latest performance and stability improvements that arrived on the 18th:[/p]
  • [p]Reduced CPU/GPU processing and made adjustments to lower the load on the game.[/p]
  • [p]Added internal Levels of Detail (LOD) for 3D models, adjusting them to display optimal quality based on the situation to reduce GPU load.[/p]
  • [p]Optimized monster and endemic life spawn-time processing to reduce CPU load.[/p]
  • [p]Added effect caching to decrease CPU load when generating duplicate effects.[/p]
  • [p]Optimized rendering processes to reduce CPU/GPU load.[/p]
  • [p]Performed other minor adjustments to lower the overall load.[/p]
[p]We hope these changes, alongside our previous stability improvements, have helped make Monster Hunter Wilds a more enjoyable experience for you all, and thank you all for your patience whilst we worked on community feedback.[/p][p]Now, back to today’s post, we’ve got more juicy new content to share with you that was just revealed this weekend at Monster Hunter Festa ’26 in Japan![/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]New 10★ Quests & Special Collaborations[/h2][p][/p][p]That’s right, there’s more 10★ shenanigans for you to enjoy / push your sets to their max arriving very soon in the forms of Zoh Shia and Gogmazios! Let’s chat a little more about them below.[/p][p]10★ Zoh Shia[/p][p][/p][p]Zoh Shia is regrowing, pulsing with dark recollection at 10★ power.[/p][p]On March 4, recall the oath you took when you first faced this massive Guardian and return to its lair in a new permanent Event Quest, "Hope of the Ancients".[/p][p]Please note, 10★ Zoh Shia is not Arch-tempered, but will provide a formidable challenge![/p][p][/p][p]10★ Gogmazios[/p][p][/p][p]The Specter of War still haunts the Forbidden Lands in a new, more challenging 10★ difficulty permanent Event Quest, "Special Assignment: Slay Gogmazios", available from March 12! But be warned, no Support Hunters will appear on the upper level in this version of the fight.[/p][p]You've come a long way since your first Chatacabra, now prepare to slay Gog![/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Two Special Collaborations![/h2][p][/p][p]Between 10★ Zoh Shia and Gogmazios, you’ve got some spicy challenges to enjoy on the imminent horizon. But we’ve also got some fun collaborations coming, one linked to a new quest and the other a rather tasty treat.[/p][p][/p][p]Universal Studios Japan Special Collaboration[/p][p]An electrifying new permanent Event Quest, "A Flash of Brilliance", comes to the game with our Universal Studios Japan Special Collaboration, available March 4.[/p][p]Unlock and craft new hunter armour, weapons, Palico gear and more to rock that iconic USJ look![/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p][/p][p]ICHIRAN Special Collaboration[/p][p]Get ready to tuck into delicious ramen that's SO TASTY in our limited time collab with ICHIRAN![/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p]Head to the Grand Hub from Feb. 25 to March 31 3:59pm PT / 11:59pm GMT to fill your hunter's belly with themed food before the hunt. Anyone else hungry now?[/p][p]During the event period, make sure to say hi to Ichiran’s staff member Palico, "ICHIRAN Clerk Ichiran”, who’ll be hanging out in the Grand Hub Canteen area. Once a day they’ll give you a special meal ticket so you can get your ramen fill.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Monster Hunter Wilds 1st Anniversary Week[/h2][p][/p][p]This week, on Saturday 28, it’s the first anniversary of Monster Hunter Wilds![/p][p]To celebrate, we’ve got two special Event Quests dropping on the anniversary day that are packed full of cosmetic rewards to mark the occasion.[/p][p][/p][p]10★ Rompopalo[/p][p]Yes, you read that right, Rompopolo, the least hunted Monster in Wilds is puffing itself up with a 10★ version. The Rompest-Popolo will arise from the oilsilt in a uniquely challenging 10★ limited-time Event Quest, "Just What the Doctor Ordered".
