Major choices and outcomes are mapped as the story progresses, giving players a clear view of how their decisions have shaped the narrative. If a critical moment results in a death, a fractured alliance, or a regrettable outcome, players can return to a key turning point to change their fate![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]In Movie Night mode, Turning Points adds an extra layer of social tension and excitement. If a favourite character dies, players can collectively debate over whether to accept the consequence… or rewind and attempt to save them, ensuring no two group playthroughs are ever the same! Supermassive Games Reveals Directive 8020 Release Date With New Trailer


After the abundance of teasers yesterday, Supermassive Games has finally revealed more of Directive 8020, in a new release date trailer that embodies terror.





After years in development and delays, Directive 8020 finally has a release date, and it’s coming this year. The release timing for the next Supermassive Games title breaks from the studio’s annual release pattern established by The Dark Pictures Anthology, a schedule that was deemed impossible after the new sci-fi horror project was pushed out of 2025. The game was previously announced for an October 2025 launch but was delayed after the studio announced layoffs. The latest trailer, which confirms a May 12 release date, can be seen below.

[p]Premiered at IGN Fan Fest 2025: Fall Edition, Directive 8020 showcased never before seen gameplay, offering a glimpse at a claustrophobic first-person sequence.
