Upcoming BETA, Duels & Steam Prologue Announcement!
Hello Kart Racing Fans!
We want to thank each and every one of you for the incredible response we received after revealing our gameplay and reboot announcement. Your support and excitement means the world to us and it truly fuels our passion to create the best kart racing game out there!
We are making great progress towards the beta phase of our game, which we have decided to divide into several phases. The first phase will primarily focus on the single-player experience, featuring modes such as Race and Time Trial, as well as a brand new feature that we came up with pretty recently (read on to find out more!).
Furthermore, after careful consideration, we have decided to release a free prologue on Steam for all players to experience the amazing races and get a glimpse of what the game has to offer. This will also allow us to further refine and improve the game, and attract even more players.
[h2]Prologue/Beta Dates [/h2]
We're aiming to start beta testing in the next few weeks and the prologue release is planned for mid-March, following the completion of the first beta phase.
[h2]Beta Access & Streaming [/h2]
Access to the beta will be granted to all players who have registered on our Discord (https://discord.gg/TheKarters) and completed the registration form. Streaming will be strictly prohibited during the beta phase, but we will encourage players to stream once the prologue is released.

[h2]1v1 Duels - NEW![/h2]
And for something extra special, we've added a new feature called 1v1 Duels to increase the competition in the prologue. You'll be able to challenge any of your friends to a Time-Trial ghost race, and it's super easy to play:

[h2]1v1 Duels - NEW![/h2]
And for something extra special, we've added a new feature called 1v1 Duels to increase the competition in the prologue. You'll be able to challenge any of your friends to a Time-Trial ghost race, and it's super easy to play:
There are a few simple steps for getting into Duel:
- Select any number of players from your friend list to challenge them.
- Click the "Challenge to a Duel" button to start a Time-Trial race with the goal of getting the best time possible. You only have one chance to race.
- After you finish the race, the friends you marked will receive a challenge notification from you with the ghost data from your race.
- Friends who receive the challenge can accept the duel by clicking the "Accept" button, which will result in a Time-Trial race against your ghost. They also have only one chance to get the best time.
- The player with the better time will earn a point on a special duel leaderboard. For example, after 10 duels, the score may be 6:4 in your favor.
- You can compete against multiple friends. Scores are separate for each friend you play against (e.g. You vs Friend No.1 6:4, You vs Friend No.2 3:7, etc.)
- Your friends can also challenge you to a duel anytime.
