We're excited to announce that the beta tests for The Karters 2: Turbo Charged are starting next Friday, March 10th!
Exciting times are ahead, and we want to make sure that you have all the necessary information before you hit the road.
[h3]Getting beta access[/h3]
Some time ago, Steam enabled a pretty cool functionality called Steam Playtests. Thanks to this feature, developers like us can easily manage beta tests, and we've decided to use this functionality to make things easier for both you and us.
No Steam Keys are required. To participate in the beta tests, simply click on "Add to wishlist" and "Request access" on The Karters Steam page.

As soon as the beta is live, you’ll get access to it in your Steam library.
This is the perfect time to let your friends know about the beta, so you can all enjoy the game together and make the experience even more enjoyable. Make sure they register too!
[h3]Beta content[/h3]
The first phase of the beta tests will focus on single-player and split-screen experiences, ensuring that the game is balanced, polished, and free of any bugs, so that you can have 100% fun!
The first phase beta build will be exactly the same as the one that will be launched as a free Steam demo Prologue and will include:
Please note that streaming is not allowed during the beta tests, as our main focus is to polish and fix any bugs. The embargo will be lifted as soon as possible, and we'll keep you updated.

We strongly encourage you to provide feedback on Discord, which will serve as a community hub for beta tests. However, if you prefer, you can also share your thoughts on Steam Discussions.

- Cups
- Team vs Team
- Game Modes: Race, Time-Trial & Duo Time-Trial
- Global Leaderboards with ghost data
- 1v1 DUELS (unlocked around 1-2 weeks after starting beta)
- Three race tracks (Shiny Shroom, Molten Mile & Woodsy Lane)
- Steam Deck Support
- Split-Screen
- Steam Remote Play Together
