The Karters 2: Turbo Charged Beta Phase One has just begun!
Warm greetings Kart Fans!
The day we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! The Karters 2: Turbo Charged Beta Phase One is now officially underway, and we're thrilled to have you on board. Over the next two weeks, we'll be relying on your invaluable feedback to help us create the ultimate kart racing experience.
For Beta Phase One, we'll be focusing on single-player and split-screen experiences, ensuring that the game is balanced, polished, and completely free of any bugs. Our goal is to provide you with 100% fun and enjoyment!
Here's what you can expect during Beta Phase One:
We've thoroughly tested the beta build, but we're aware that some features may not be perfect yet. That's why we'll be doing our best to improve all the functions and add content in small patches throughout Phase One. You may encounter some laughable bugs along the way, but that's what Beta Tests are for, right? With your support, we're confident that the game will continue to get better each day!
Please note that the split-screen is playable but it is not complete yet. Among other improvements you can expect big performance boost next week both in single-player and split-screen. Also, it looks like the very first game loading takes more time than it should and it will be fixed soon as well.
Overall, the to-do list for the upcoming days goes and follow:
1. Split-Screen Fixes
2. Performance improvements
3. Steam Deck Support
4. More setting options
5. Voice Overs fixes
6. Gameplay Balance
We strongly encourage you to provide feedback on Discord, which will serve as a community hub for beta tests. However, if you prefer, you can also share your thoughts and discuss your findings on Steam Discussions.
We want to thank you all for joining us on this long journey.
Have fun with the testing and share your feedback with us!
IMPORTANT:
Please note that streaming is not allowed during the beta tests, as our main focus is to polish and fix any bugs. The embargo will be lifted as soon as possible, and we'll keep you updated.
