• Most carriage couplings now stay attached better when the train goes over the top of a small and high bridge.
Small changes:
• Tweaked auto-detection of graphics settings to favor framerate over graphics quality more.
 • Improved framerate when creating new railroads in a level that already has a lot of stations.
 • Improved framerate in situations where the camera is fully zoomed in and the sun is behind the camera.
 • Improved framerate in main menu by disabling invisible background rendering.
 • Removed the word “Loading” from the loading screen
 • Houses in cities now spawn when the church lands instead of before
 • Advanced graphic settings are now hidden behind a new checkbox
Bug Fixes:
• Fixed the button for level two, where it would glow despite it being completed.
 • Fixed a bug where pressing spacebar in the pause menu or settings makes it open again after closing.
 • Fixed a bug where the tooltip did not show up when the player did not have enough money.
 • Fixed the fund challenge thumbnail so that it accurately represents what percentage complete it is.
 • Fixed that a part of the anchor point tutorial would mistakenly appear in level 2 or when you are not in tutorial mode.
 • Fixed that the railroad price would not display as green when using a cheaper rails card.
 • Fixed that station connectors and railroad anchor points looked blurry when the camera was zoomed in.
 • One of the cliffs in level 1 has been changed so you can no longer softlock yourself by placing a station in between the cliff and the building by blocking off all station connectors.
 • You can now no longer lose a fund goal that was already achieved after level completion.
 • New cards and new building icons are no longer placed over the settings menu.
 • It’s no longer possible to have two level completion windows overlap each other.
 • It’s no longer possible to softlock yourself in level 1 when building a railway with bridges during the tutorial.
 • Fixed that sometimes the unlock building tutorial message was stuck on the screen
 • Fixed that there were holes in some of the rock models
 • Buildings now look for a new, nearby spawn position when there is already a railroad or station on the intended position of a building. (Previously they would just drop on top of the railroad or station.)
 • Fixed that the game was called UE4 in taskbar and processes.
 • Fixed that some tunes would not continue playing when setting music volume to 0 and then back to an audible volume.
 • Fixed that graphics auto-detect didn’t affect the settings for fields and props.
 • Fixed Visual Effects quality setting affecting a number of props in level
 • The pause menu will no longer close when pressing the following buttons: Left Alt, Right Alt, Left Cmd, Right Cmd, Tab, Left Ctrl
 • Fixed multiple keys not working when being rebound in the control section
 • Removed “Reset to defaults” option from graphics settings, because defaults differ based on hardware and that’s what the auto-detect button already does.
 • Fixed that you could place a station on top of a building if you press space and click at the same time while hovering over a building.
 • Tooltip for unlocks no longer shows when there are no more unlocks available in the level
Starting a new level
Every level of Station to Station starts with a handful of rural buildings. Each building has resource requirements. For example, a mill needs wheat to make flour.

Your job is to build a railway network that connects buildings to the resources they need. You do this by building stations and laying tracks that connect those stations.

But you’re on a budget. Every station costs money to build. The longer your railroad, the more money it costs, and bridges cost extra money.

In each level, you’ll also receive a handful of cards with a number of uses. Cards like Cheap rails and Cheap bridges can be used to save money on construction. These are especially useful if you’re trying to complete the optional challenges.

There are also cards that offer you special trains, like the Heavy Freight Train card. This card doubles the money you earn from building a connection.

Your goal for each level is to connect every building with the resources it needs to run. For every complete building, you’ll gradually populate a beautiful and ever-brightening landscape

Then connect these buildings to a city in order to share the produce with them. This will help your city grow and thrive!

That’s a very brief overview of Station to Station and the main features you can expect from the first few levels.

If you’re going for the high scores then here are some tips to get you started:

 • You don’t need to directly connect each building. A train will travel through multiple stations in order to reach its destination.
 • Try connecting your buildings in a different order to get a higher Stack Bonus.

We hope you enjoy the Station to Station demo and please fill out our feedback form so we can make the full game even better.
