A new SCS On The Road episode has just arrived! We are reporting from Burtenbach, Germany, where we met up with Kögel Trailer at their factory, to give you an exclusive and in-depth walk-around of their Cargo Rail trailer.

We also just released the Kögel Trailer Pack for Euro Truck Simulator 2 last week, so you can already haul goods with the beautiful Kögel trailers in our game as the DLC is available on Steam! You can read more about it here.


In this episode hosted by Nemiro, we travelled to Germany to take a look around Kögel Trailer's factory. We also had the pleasure to meet with Sebastian Hönig, Kögel's product manager who has been working there for all his professional career. Of course, we could not miss out on this great opportunity and asked Sebastian to show us their amazing Cargo Rail trailer in detail. What is so special about this trailer? Let's find out!

The 1.51 update will bring a change to the way controllers work in both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. We are enhancing the controller settings system, which will enable players to control the game with ease and offer them more flexibility and control. These changes will also pave the way for exciting future projects!


These updates will introduce some new features designed to improve the overall gameplay experience for players using controllers. One of the key improvements is the addition of preset settings for modifiers, which will allow players to control essential game features directly through the controller and comfortably play the game without the need for a keyboard or other device.

Not only will you now be able to control more game features while using only your controller, but we also tried to set up the controls in a way that resembles driving a vehicle in real life which we hope will be natural and more immersive for you!


Although these changes will improve the controller settings and make it easier for players using controllers to engage with the game, there may be some cases where customized control settings could be affected. Unfortunately, players who have heavily modified their control layouts through the Steam controller configuration UI and shifted them from the default settings may see their custom configurations reset to default after the update.

In our upcoming Greece DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, you'll discover a variety of unique industries throughout the country. In today's blog, we want to highlight one of the larger factories where drivers can deliver to and from. Let's take a closer look!


Located in the northern area of Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece, you'll find a pretty sizeable Cement Plant! Built and established in 1962, the plant supports 300+ direct and indirect jobs for the local economy and beyond. Its virtual creation in the Greece DLC has been built by our talented teams and features custom Landmark models, a detailed layout, and a recreation of one of the largest-scaled artistic mural projects in Europe, which spans across many of the buildings in the plant.


This impressive industry can be seen from across the city, including from the highway; it simply cannot be missed! You can be sure to find plenty of job contracts available to and from this plant, as it is one of the leading producers of cement in the country.

From the 17th to the 24th of September, we will be visiting the leading exhibition for logistics, commercial vehicles, and the transport sector, the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany! We plan to fill the IAA week with new content releases, live streams, SCS On The Road episodes, and live updates from the event. So we are sorry if your Steam client will initiate a bit more updates than usual but we really have a lot to release during that week!


Although we will not have our own booth at the expo, we will join a few of our valued partners who have reached out to us with a request to help them at their booth. Remember to stop by if you are there!

You will find us at the Scania booth with one of our 4D motion simulators where everyone will get the chance to experience their fully electric truck Scania S BEV (amongst others) in our ETS2 recreation of the iconic Scania Demo Centre in Södertälje. We're also teaming up with JOST, where another of our simulators will help introduce and demonstrate their cutting-edge KKS technology.

Our collaboration with Kögel will showcase the Kögel Trailer Pack DLC through a short, entertaining demo of ETS2 at their booth with another one of our 4D motion simulators. The fourth motion simulator where visitors can try out our game will be located at the booth of our partners from Wielton.

But that's not all! We are bringing some free copies of our game and some of our best and biggest trailer pack DLCs to the Schmitz Cargobull and Krone Trailer booths where you will be able to win them along with IAA 2024, ETS2 & Krone & Trailer Dynamics merchandise. We also plan to do something cool with our friends from Kässbohrer at their booth, so be sure to drop by there as well!!
