Action! - Gameplay Recording and Streaming News

W have just uploaded an update that includes changes from Action! 5.x:

- Major improvements for HDR capturing devices (Avermedia, Elgato/Corsair)
- Added automatic HDR signal detection and tone mapping for Avermedia and Elgato devices
- Fixed auto HDR detection for Steam games in Screen and Game capture modes
- Added color format selection for webcams and capturing devices (RGB, YUY2, NV12, P010 etc.)
- Added HUD in Device Capture mode
- Added browser overlay scaling (50-300% useful for displaying live chat on HUD in 4K)
- New advanced HDR to SDR tone mapper
- New improved SDR/RGB to HDR conversion for graphics/web browser/camera overlays in HDR mode

This release contains a critical fix for auto HDR detection which stopped working after one of the latest Steam platform updates.

Hi Everyone,

This update addresses a problem with the newest Nvidia drivers. Video resolutions that are aligned (in height) to 32 pixels were not encoded properly.

Additionally you can also try the beta APK of Action! RCU 2.0 app for Android. The link to the download is available in the changelog. The app is now compatible with Android 13 (API 33+).

After beta tests it will be uploaded to the Google Play Store and later updated with a new app that will show real time preview of the recording/stream on mobile devices, offloading preview rendering from the GPU.

Hi Everyone,

We have finally added the possibility to display all URL overlays (widgets) on HUD. You can now monitor everything your viewers are doing (like becoming a new follower, giving a tip or chatting) without taking your eyes off your game.

Since this version it is also possible to use the CTRL + SHIFT + F default hotkey to make the real-time preview enter full screen mode. Two or more monitors are needed to use this mode.

In version 4.34.0 and 4.35.0 we have added some cool features for your webcams:
- Alpha mask (rectangle, circle and ellipsis) with custom edge blur for a PRO touch
- AI-powered face tracking to make your face always stay in the middle of the alpha mask :)
- On-key webcam show/hide global alpha animation

All these new features are available in the webcam settings window.
