Howdy partner!

An updated Roadmap is now live on our Steam page!!

Here's quick rundown of what has changed since the latest update. Make sure you have the latest version of the game V0.401.

Patch Notes - V0.401

[FIX] Fixed a bug causing character and biome lock upon completing conditions.
[FIX] Fixed tooltip not turning off when hovering UI and pressing ESC.
[FIX] Sound and music can be muted completely now.
[QOL] Key prompt staying longer at the start of the game.
[BALANCE] Trader Wallet decreased from 10% to 6%.
[BALANCE] Experience Booster reduced from 20% to 15%.
[VISUAL] Shops, terminals and tasks dissolving when disappear.
[LOCALIZATION] Chinese translation added for the update.

We are currently addressing an issue encountered in macOS version. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

It’s the biggest content update yet, so without further ado here’s what the full package offers:

Where we at?

We are descending into the abyssal realm, right under the surface. The latest addition is the BLEUMER Map🪼 which brings its own challenges and fun.



Who's the new face?

A New Character and its slick New Weapon with perks on its own is here to wipe the new undersea challenges off the new realm.



Who are these undersea challenges in question?

Nothing other than 16 New Enemies and 2 Bosses of course.



The Enemies just inflate to explode around you, some throw stuff or some even jump at you, some actually tail-slap you.

On the other side, Bosses try to take you down quite literally by clenching or raining fire over you.



How to beat them?

Easy as pie. Just include any of the 5 New Weapons in your builds, or just mix and match all 5 of them together or whatever, it’s the way you want it!

V0.3.6 New Weapons & Controller Support?

Long time no see!
However, we are back with an update fresher than ever, and it’s full of new weapons and stuff.

New weapons!
Most of the feedback we got from you revolved around variety of weapons so we are back with new auto-weapons, each having their own unique attributes. We're really excited to let you try it out now!
Do let us know what you think!

[h3]5 new auto-weapons has been added:[/h3]
  • Typhoon R44: Missiles thrown at the faced direction.
  • Blight: Generates a toxic gas area when dropped.
  • Flamemaw: A turret throwing constant flames.
  • Tesla Beam: Beams of electrical damage to immediately freeze the enemies.
  • Saberlight: Pink laser sabers thrown at faced direction.

Better controller support is here! Another popular demand also wasn't left unanswered...
It is available on almost everything in the game including majority of the menu, the rest of the in-game support is coming really soon! Stick around!

FMOD integration!
We got lots of feedback that the sound would overlap in a little too annoying way. In order to fix that we adopted FMOD into the game.
It sounds way better and well-settled compared to the previous one! Hear it for yourself, we promise it's worth the try!

HP regeneration?
Remember the times when you regenerated HP whenever you travelled to the next floor? It's gone now. Some voices came to our ears that the HP regeneration made the game wayy to easy so, we decided to take it back which accelerates the roguelike-ification of the game. We did some balance though, you'll still be able to survive partner!

10 More Random Events! Balanced for more reward benefits.

Optimization polishes nonstop on-the-go, for the ever-improving gameplay experience. Movemement logic has been optimied to make place for many more hordes.

  • UI/UX is WIP right now. We are working on a layout that is pausable and manageable during the gameplay, and one that's easier on the eye.

End of Post-Release Week 1 & Our Plans?

Today marks exactly 1 week after the release!!

After 1 year of solo-development and all the ups and downs it feels unreal to show it to all of you and see how much fun you are having in the game.

It's been hell of a week, but once more we can't thank you enough for all the support and love you have showed for Survivors of the Dawn!

We have heard all the feedback you have sent us over Discussions and Discord so here's:

[h2]What to Expect in the Near Future:[/h2]
  • Weapon variety in progress. (5 new weapons already under development)
  • Variety of content (Floor Objectives, Terminal Tasks, Items, Shops, and Characters etc. wise)
  • Full controller support is coming sooner than you expect so keep an eye on that.
  • More detailed UI, pause screens; items, passive-active upgrades, synergy classes to be more available.
  • The sounds may become messy through the later stages in the game so, it is prioritized to be polished.

Here's what we plan to accomplish until the full release (May subject to expand even more)
[h2]The Overall Roadmap:[/h2]
  • 8/30 Auto Weapons Weapon variety is one of the top priorities so expect a handful of them in the upcoming updates.
  • 3/10 Characters: The crew is planned to grow so we are keeping an eye out for new members.
  • 20/30 Item Variations
  • 2/4 Maps
  • 4/10 Terminal Tasks
  • 10/50 Various Random Events: They are planned to be give you more control of the in-game balance along with the connection of the story.
  • New Meta Progression Elements: You must learn how to spend your Bounty Bits more reasonably sooner or later.
  • New floor objectives
  • Optimization: It is the key component of our game so we plan to serve you the best experience possible.
  • Enemy and Boss Variety: New enemy and boss behaviors are planned so that you don't die out of boredom instead of them.
  • UI improvements
  • SFX balance and improvement reworks

Along the way through 1.0, we plan to balance the game. We would like to improve the game with the community to the best potential so, pease join us in our journey and don't hesitate drop any feedback or suggestions you have with us.
