11th Minor Update

Minor update

Changes:
  • Corrected some misspellings
  • Added average production per second in the lubing gears description
  • Added an option to swap from "ascension points per second" to "time until next turn" and "turns per second" in the bottom left ascension progress bar
  • Fixed visual bug with discount buff
  • Fixed error with money per second generated from structures not being updated when purchasing and update but only when placing new gears
  • Fixed an issue where you would receive less money than what you should when turns per second were very high and you were connected to a structure (Thanks BigFoot)

Idling Gears 1.1

Hello there, this is the first non-minor update. Reworked some things added others and fixed a lot.
Here are the changes:

Improvements:
  • Improved settings menu with sections and a ton of options (would love to hear if you have any option you want me to add to the game)
  • Enriched gear stats
  • Enriched gears build menu description
  • Replaced ascension upgrade "suicide" with "stonks" (was really out of place)
  • Reworked the angle system when placing new gears, instead of holding shift, control or alt you can change the angle by pressing control or shift just once
  • You can now keep building by pressing "X" while placing a new gear
  • Improved leaderboard font (More characters are now visible)


Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue with mps computation (your money per second will almost certainly be different, probably higher)
  • Fixed visual issue with lubing gears being placed on a momma gear
  • Fixed upgrades money prediction being misleading
  • Fixed gears build menu description
  • Frames per second no longer affect your production
  • Fixed several issues with the red buff
  • Fixed an issue with the main gear collision


Might be missing a few things in the lists...

What's next?
With most of the minor issues of the game being fixed. I am now happy to announce that I will be working on a content update, which is really needed.

The content update will include new gears, new mechanics, new areas, new currencies and some other things...

I do not have an estimated date for this update to release, Will hopefully be ready in less than 3 months, aiming at the end of February BUT no promises.

10th Minor Update

Minor update, here are the changes/corrections and additions:

  • Fixed miscalculation with cash gear rotation
  • Fixed switch gears deactivating gears but not their income
  • Added a new setting to hide ui when placing gears (deactivated by default)
  • Gear stats window will now be always visible on screen and not go away when zooming out
  • Fixed settings menu close button misbehaviour with other windows opened

The AFK Update (9th Minor Update)

Hello everyone, this update adds afk progress for ascension points and chests.

Chests
Chests will have no limit and can be 100% opened while away, so once you return you can just claim its reward.

Ascension Points
For the ascension points this limit is tight with the ascension upgreades regarding afk time.

Welcome Back Screen
Also everytime you come back to the game a new screen will have a summary of what you've earned while away.

Other changes and additions
This update also adds:
  • New advanced setting option to remove zoom on chain delete
  • New advanced setting to change autosave frequency
  • Minigame gears will not activate/work if they are disabled by a switch

8th Minor Update

This update should fix the game not appearing on the taskbar after launching and switching to another window/app.
Manufacturers will now not apply load once they are done crafting momma gears + some visual improvements to them.

Quick small update.

Next update will rework afk progress of the game...
The idea I have right now for this future update is that chests will still countdown when the game is closed, and you will also get 5% of your money and ascension production by default, which will be upgradeable with ascension points. These afk upgrades will also affect your ascension points. Hope this sounds good, open to suggestions, let me know what you think in the comments of this update!
