Reapolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond Leaves Early Access on April 24

Greetings, fellow leaders!

The time has finally come for us to unveil the release date of Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond's full launch! The game will leave Early Access on April 24.

Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond has been in Early Access since October 2024, and it has received multiple patches and two Content Updates so far. For the full launch, you can expect even more content, such as the new "Climate War" scenario, in which the world faces a wave of climate disasters, eventually leading to a new type of wars to emerge, with countries fighting for basic resources and survival. Besides that, the Leadership mechanic has been finalized, letting players develop their Head of State and other members of the cabinet as they gain experience.

The update itself will also include various quality of life features, improvements and bugfixes based on your feedback. We are tremendously grateful for it and the support you've shown throughout the Early Access period. Massive shout-outs and thanks head your way!

Also, just as we promised, the game will be localized into German, Spanish, French, Polish, Simplified Chinese and Russian languages at full launch.

The news don't end there though - we can also share that next week, we will make available most of the 1.0 content, features and fixes available to our community for beta testing.

We will share more details here when the Beta becomes available here, but we wholeheartedly recommend joining the Realpolitiks Discord so you can chat with us and the other Realpolitiks leaders about your political journey, share your feedback and leave your mark on the game in this last part of the Early Access period.

Realpolitiks 3 | The Changing World Update is Out Now!

Greetings, fellow leaders!

We bring excellent news - we have just released the second of our planned Early Access Content Updates, dubbed "The Changing World.” As the name implies, it puts into your hands many tools and features allowing you to leave a mark on the Earth and other planets of our Solar system. For example, you will be able to liberate states, change the names of provinces and countries, move your capital and more!

You will also be able to tackle the challenges posed by the ever-changing world by using new tools, such as enacting Martial Law for an immediate boost to your countries stability and lowered dissent among population, and the ability to bypass the parliament when setting up projects and actions, but your relations with other nations will suffer and the dissatisfaction of your population will grow for as long as martial law is in effect. You will also be able to use your influence to help (or harm) the new Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO's), which can provide useful bonuses, but also penalties, if their views are not aligned with your doctrines.

As with most updates, we highly recommend starting a new campaign to enjoy the full range of new features, fixes and improvements, the list of which is available below. We can't wait to see what you think about the update, and how you will wield the new tools it places at your disposal!

Realpolitiks 3 | Fire and Brimstone Update Out Now!

With the Holiday season almost upon us, we would like to give all the Realpolitiks fans an early Christmas present - the first large Content Update for Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond, which is currently in Early Access. We call it the "Fire and Brimstone" Update, since what better way to celebrate the Holidays than by scorching the planet with nuclear fire?



But of course, our game is all about the freedom to choose how you want to rule - if you want to treat the world as a garden rather than a battlefield, the update brings new options for enacting environmental policies. Perhaps you will be able to save the Earth, rather than destroy it - the choice is yours!

[h3]New Features[/h3]
  • Nuclear Weapons Mechanics: Manage, deploy, and respond to nuclear threats, introducing a new level of strategy to international conflicts.
  • DEFCON System: Track global tension levels and make decisions that impact your nation’s readiness for war (or peace).
  • Environmental Policies: Implement eco-friendly projects, manage pollution, and tackle global climate challenges to maintain a sustainable future.

Also as part of our seasonal celebration, we have decorated the main menu accordingly. Enjoy the Holiday mood, we will be taking the cosmic Christmas tree down shortly after New Year's, as is tradition!



And of course, we do our best to improve the technical state of the game with each update, big or small, and squash the various bugs that crawl from their hiding places when you report them!

[h3]Bug Fixes and Technical Improvements[/h3]
  • Enabled the window of a given project to stay open after clicking on the maintenance cost of a project from the list in the economy overview window; also enabled the block window to stay open after clicking on the maintenance cost of a block
  • Improved the differentiation between single-province and all-province effects (previously these descriptions were identical and it was not clear whether they were for one or all provinces)
  • Added the ability to switch single-thread/multi-thread save mode in the game options
  • The game will now only display building effects categories (country perks or province perks) in the building details window when there is at least one effect from a given category (until now it displayed e.g. "Province perks:", with nothing under the header, which looked confusing)
  • Modifiers with 0 value are no longer displayed (e.g. "Unrest Target +0")
  • Added a description to the training limit change effect - it now displays the value of by what amount it changes this limit
  • Fixed the current Unrest Target value displayed in effect descriptions (it will no longer improperly show values in thousands of percents)
  • Fixed the name of the autosave file in Iron mode
  • Added technologies to the "show possible developments" tooltip (previously, only development projects were included)
  • Removed empty sections in the "show possible developments" tooltip (e.g. when there are no buildings or projects for a given value)
  • Removed the occasional double display of the percent sign in effect descriptions
  • Attempting to load an empty save game folder will now result in displaying information about an invalid save instead of causing a freeze
  • Fixed the behavior of hiding effects (until now the descriptions / effects of these hidden effects were visible to the player, although they should not have been)
  • Added the option to set different types of modifiers for the province population change effect
  • Fixed a bug where a naval officer would remain in battle state after a battle ended
  • Improved serialization of battles
  • Improved escaping from battles without reason
  • Fixed spawning of buildings or trees depending on game settings
  • Changed pathfinding for AI to not allow movement through territories they should not have access to
  • AI army recruitment fixes & improvements
  • General optimization improvements (effects, map particles, calculations)

Realpolitiks 3 | Patch is Live! | First Content Update Coming Soon!

We have just released a new patch, to make your path to world domination in Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond even more enjoyable! As usual, we have fixed a lot of bugs that you've reported and added various quality of life improvements that you've requested. You'll find the full list of changes below. But before we get to that, we have one more piece of good news:

[h3]The "Fire and Brimstone" Content Update is coming soon![/h3]
That's right, the first big Early Access update is in the final phases of testing, and we are doing our best to deliver it to you before the holidays. So we wonder, World Leaders, have you been naughty? Because this year, Santa will not bring you coals, but NUKES!

The upcoming update will feature many more bugfixes, tweaks and improvements, but the three flagship new features will be:
  • Nuclear Weapon Mechanics: Manage, deploy, and respond to nuclear threats, introducing a new level of strategy to international conflicts.
  • DEFCON System: Track global tension levels and make decisions that impact your nation’s readiness for war or peace.
  • Environmental Policies: Implement eco-friendly projects, manage pollution, and tackle global climate challenges to maintain a sustainable future.


To be clear, those will come in the next update - we just couldn't wait and wanted to share the exciting news with you. The patch we have released just now improves the game in the following ways:

  • Optimization improvements (officer recruitment processing)
  • Added tooltips to units in the Selected Army Window
  • Adjusted the bloc selection buttons in the Country Selection Window to clarify which game modes allow for their change
  • Removed HDI being categorized as a monetary income in the Economy Overview
  • Fixed sorting of costs as positive and negative in the Economy Overview
  • Resolved localization issues for names of bloc maintenance cost modifiers
  • Enhanced display of cost modifier types
  • Improved cost modifier icons
  • Fixed a bug that required double-clicking to open a window if another panel (e.g., single army panel) was previously open in the side panel
  • Fixed unnecessary hiding of certain side panel windows when another window was opened
  • Fixed display of modifiers per province, by population, and by GDP percentage
  • Adjusted effect sections in cost pop-ups to hide when there are no effects, preventing displaying empty sections that looked like loading errors
  • Switched the view of research institution modifiers
  • Fixed assigning the owner country to space provinces
  • Fixed an issue that caused airbases to increase unit capacity even after being destroyed
  • Countries with low economic strength (1-3) will now start the game with additional Money and AP
  • AI will now be more likely to gain territorial claims on provinces of its neighbors
  • Fixed population not being subtracted from country when Population Growth value was negative
  • Fixed population amount not being fully subtracted from a country upon migration to another country
