[h3]As announced at San Diego Comic Con this past weekend, we are excited to reveal the launch date for Toxic Crusaders: December 4th, 2025![/h3][h3][/h3][h3]Check out the Toxic Crusaders Release Date Trailer here![/h3][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][h3]We understand that the change in release date/time has been pushed back multiple times by this point, but we will finally be ready to launch Toxic Crusaders this December! This new release date also falls in line with the release of the new The Toxic Avenger movie by Troma and Cineverse![/h3][h3][/h3][p][/p][p][/p][h3]We've been hard at work getting levels in order, fine-tuning enemies and bosses, and ensuring our Tag In/Tag Out System and RAD Mode are functioning as we intend them to. We've also been working on getting new art assets implemented into the game, including new throwable objects, new consumables, and new destructible objects that players can interact with! Toxic Crusaders is in the MIX Summer Game Showcase! And with our featured spotlight, we're excited to reveal some new content that will be in the game when Toxic Crusaders launches in Q3 of 2025!

Players can look forward to:

• Playing as all the members of the original Toxic Crusaders gang, including Toxie, Nozone, Junkyard, Major Disaster, and Headbanger, along with Toxie's girlfriend, Yvonne, and even Toxie's mom, Mrs. Junko!
  
• New level environments inspired from movies made by Troma--like Class of Nuke 'Em High and Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead!
  
• New bosses--with some also hailing from Troma films, along with the evil Dr. Killemoff and other characters from the original Toxic Crusaders cartoon!
  
• A new "Tag Out" System, where players will be able to SWITCH between different Crusaders when its corresponding meter is full! Players will also be able to cycle through the whole team of Crusaders, so you'll be able to switch into your desired character (that is, unless another player is already using that character)!
  
• A new soundtrack composed by PSYCHOSTICK!
  
• Physical editions of the game will be distributed by Limited Run Games!

[h2]From its announcement, Toxic Crusaders was bound to be a game highly anticipated by both Troma fans and fans of beat-em-ups, and we've been hard at work developing new systems and redesigning key elements of the game.

However, we need more time before we can show you what we've been cooking.

On the bright side, you can expect Toxic Crusaders to launch in Q2 2025--that's both digitally and in a physical edition!

We know game delays are frustrating, but having more time will help us achieve our goal of delivering the best version of Toxic Crusaders.[/h2]

Radiation Rangers come in all ranks and color schemes...and different mechanics. Square up against these pollution-happy thugs in the Toxic Crusaders demo!

Common Radiation Rangers don a yellow suit with some hints of green, purple, and blue throughout. These guys are eager to get the contamination going and won’t hesitate to get into your face and punch you with a fistful of PAIN!



Now, alone, one Radiation Ranger isn’t enough to take down a fully experienced, highly (self-proclaimed) trained Toxic Crusader. But in greater numbers, these common enemies are sure to be a threat!



Speed Rangers are specially trained Radiation Rangers whose specialties specialize in KICKING! Indeed, a kick to the face will surely knock some spatial awareness into anyone distracted by the heat of battle, especially in a crowded area! So, note to self: watch out for those green Rangers!



Burning Rangers are mid-range units that will incinerate anyone dumb enough to stand in front of them–and the glory of Smogula! You can bait them into using their flamethrowers, then run behind them to get that DE-LICIOUS combo counter going!
