UPDATE 2.0 - PATCH NOTES

2.0 - Patch Notes:



[h2]General Changes:[/h2]
- Lock-on Screen Mouse by Default: Mouse control is now locked on the screen by default, enhancing player control and experience.
- Rework Color Grading: All visuals are now displayed in full color, enriching the overall aesthetic of the game.
- Rework Lights: Implemented an enhanced indirect lighting system to improve visual quality and realism.
- Rework Flashlight: Both player and scenario flashlights have been revamped for better illumination and atmosphere.
- Rebalanced Difficulty: Made adjustments to enemy behaviors and game mechanics across all difficulty levels for a more balanced experience.

[h2]Control Enhancements:[/h2]
- Reworked Directional 2D System Control: Automatic switching between 2D and Tank controls based on input method (analog for 2D, keyboard or gamepad D-pad for Tank).
- Improvements in Flashlight: Increased exposure while flashlight is active for better visibility.
- Sophia gets Wet in Rain: Implemented a dynamic weather system where Sophia reacts realistically to rain.

[h2]User Interface and Settings:[/h2]
- Additional Graphic Options: Expanded graphic options available in the main menu settings for customization.
- Reworked Tutorial Screen: Improved tutorial interface for better player guidance.
- Universal Menu: Merged pause menu and main menu into a single, streamlined interface.
- Closet Feature: Added a closet function accessible from both the main menu and pause menu (Universal Menu).

[h2]Visual and Audio Enhancements:[/h2]
- Reworked Brightness System: Overhauled brightness system for improved visual clarity.
- Optimizations: Optimized sports outfit, maid outfit and schoolgirl attire for better performance.
- Controller Vibration Option: Added the ability to enable/disable controller vibration.
- Auto-change Input System: Implemented a system to automatically switch between keyboard/mouse and gamepad inputs.

[h2]Gameplay and Animation:[/h2]
- Boss Rework: The first boss now follows you during battle and we added some shelves so you can dodge her attacks. Overhall damage taken from/time to defeat was decreased in all difficulties for all Bosses.
- Enemy Behavior Changes: Some enemies will no longer follow the player's visual changes, introducing new gameplay dynamics.
- Updated Animation: Enhanced animation for walking backwards, improving character movement fluidity.
- Complete Body Jiggle Physics: Implemented more jiggle physics for character animations, enhancing realism and immersion. (also applied to enemies) For the science, you know.
