Night is falling, which means it's time for the most terrible holiday of the year! A Halloween themed event has been launched and will be available until November 2.

Angry but unarmed Easter pumpkins filled the danger zone. Destroying them, you get a random reward. Pumpkins will spawn randomly at all game locations. Good luck in your search and have a fun Halloween!

Before we proceed to the list of changes and innovations, we strongly ask you to leave feedback after reviewing the update. It is extremely important for us to get feedback in order to improve the quality of updates in the future. You can also suggest a theme for future updates.

In our understanding, a good content update is the processing of non-working or ambiguous mechanics with the addition of new content. The global map stood out strongly against the background of the rest of the gameplay and required immediate improvement. That is why this update is dedicated to this element of the game.

[h3]Player route[/h3]

Now, using [shift], you can set up to 10 destination points to which the character will rush in turn.
The effect of visualizing the path to the destination has also been changed.

[h3]Stealth and effects on the global map[/h3]

Now some locations on the global map have modifiers. The first of the modifiers is stealth.
Entering a forest area or dense vegetation, you reduce your own visibility for opponents. But keep in mind,
in addition to increasing stealth, the level of stealth is changing and the speed of movement often suffers

[h3]Roads[/h3]

The pre-war world left a legacy of roads and railways. Moving through them, you increase the speed of movement, but often increase your own visibility for opponents
There are three types of roads:
- rural road. Moderate increase in speed and minimal infatuation of visibility.
- trunk road. The biggest increase in speed, but also the maximum increase in visibility.
- railway highway. Moderate increase in speed, but maximum increase in visibility.

In addition to loot boxes, ordinary items will now spawn on the map. Initially, they are hidden and waiting to be found.

By clicking on the player's portrait, you activate a special menu with which you can interact with the world map and other elements of the game.

Click twice on the player's portrait, you instantly move to a small map and go to the usual gameplay.

[h3]Detailed inspection of the global map[/h3]
In addition to the perimeter inspection (this is when the fog of war disappears from the location), we have added a detailed inspection of the cell. Moving within the cell, you explore this part of the global map.

[h3]Opponents and artificial intelligence[/h3]
It would not be enough to say that the opponents on the global map were too artificial and predictable.
That is why, in this update, we have paid special attention to this important aspect of the game.
- Having met the player, the opponents begin to pursue. In order to get rid of the pursuers, it is necessary to break away for a long distance.
- Some opponents arrange ambushes. In this state, they are incredibly difficult to detect.
- Opponents on the global map remember their location while maintaining progress.
- Opponents are no longer resurrected when the game is restarted. The killed enemy goes to a large temporary cooldown.

[h3]Changes, fixes and optimizations[/h3]
- The speed of the character and opponents, as well as the total time speed on the global map has been reduced. The fact is that the player will now have to choose the route in more detail

In this section, the application collects all available information about the user's system and displays the system elements that are necessary for the optimal operation of the game. If one of the components does not meet the required characteristics, it will be highlighted in red.

We are making an important technical update, which should correct the incorrect loading of the geometry of cards from a number of players.As we wrote earlier, this error is extremely non-standard and cannot be fixed by replacing a few lines of code. In addition, the main reason why this error is still present in the game is the rarity, or even randomness of the manifestation in specific users.
To fix this problem, we had to update many systems for downloading and delivering content to the game, which is why the fix comes out a month after early access, and the update itself weighs 100 megabytes instead of the usual 10-15.


[h2]Corrections:[/h2]
- Fixed incorrect display of text in the options of the parameters in the "video" tab;
- fixed incorrect display of the parameter status in the "before and after" menu in the settings. Previously, when disabling
the parameter, it was displayed that the parameter was enabled and vice versa;
- fixed interaction with buildings in the shelter.
- fixed resetting the day counter and resetting the day respectively;

- fixed exit to the menu (time is slowed down).

- We have slightly modified the UI of loading the game again;

- Added a new parameter in the game settings: environment detail. We strive to provide comfortable access to our game to the maximum number of people. So, by lowering this parameter to the average and minimum values, owners of weak systems can feel a significant increase in FPS.

- Fixed problems with spawn in the shelter (!testing);
- Fixed a bug that caused the character's stamina in the shelter to not recover;
- Fixed fatal component error: All_weapons;
- Fixed the text at the beginning of each new day;
- Fixed the text in the construction menu in the shelter;
- Fixed incorrect display of some items in the inventory and in the warehouse;
- Fixed a flaw that caused food to not restore the character's stamina;
- Other minor fixes.

[h2]Changed/Reworked[/h2]
- Redesigned camera behavior. Added a new reaction to the cursor and recoil from the weapon;
- Redesigned all the effects of medicine and food;
- Changed the "fatigue" effect.

[h2]Character menu[/h2]
- We have changed the character menu [Y]. Optimized and improved the overall quality of the interface. Added a more detailed submenu with a description of each effect;
- Redesigned most of the active effects and added passive ones.

[h2]New[/h2]
- A new system of movement of the main character. We have long wanted to rework this important aspect of the gameplay and make it more believable;
- Breathing. What do you think: how soon will you start suffocating from shortness of breath after running several hundred meters in equipment and wearing a gas mask? So our main character is not an arcade game character. Starting with this update, general fatigue is reinforced by shortness of breath;
- Inertia. From now on, the character does not stop instantly and continues uncontrolled movement for some time, and every extra kilogram in your inventory affects your braking;
- Mobility. Abstract value with which the character reacts to the player's action (speed change, transition between modes, speed of reversal, etc.).

- We have changed some of the lighting in the sections of the shelter. Where previously it was pitch dark when the electricity was turned off, now it is light dark;
- Added a shower (at the entrance to the shelter);
- Added a medical bed (medblock).

We are aware of the problem of incorrect loading of the geometry of maps. This error is extremely non-standard and cannot be fixed by replacing a few lines of code. In addition, the main reason why this error is still present in the game today is the rarity, or even randomness of the manifestation in specific users.

So far we have not identified the faulty element, but we have found the scope of this problem. As a test, we added a foreign object to the shelter. Do not be alarmed if you find the skeletons of a vehicle in the corridor.

We deliberately postponed this patch fix for as long as possible. There is a tradition in the gaming industry in which the first update breaks more elements of the game than fixes problems.
We hope this unspoken rule will bypass us, because we have been testing this hotfix for several days.

- Fixed the pre-setup menu at the first start. Previously, it was activated every launch.
- Fixed glare and highlights of textures in the shelter.
- Minor character bugs have been fixed. (!!! check)
- Fixed an error that occurs when opening hidden mailboxes.
- Fixed a bug that caused some players to not load locations. (!!! check)
- Fixed text overlay in the settings application menu.
- Fixed the behavior of the in-game cursor. Added the ability to switch between the system and game cursor on the ALT key.
- Fixed the exit boundaries of the "destroyed column" map.
- Fixed some errors related to loading text and localized versions of text.

- The loading screen has been improved and refined.
- Added a subroutine for debugging important scripts. We noticed that after receiving a system error, the players continued the game despite the failure of important components.
Starting from this version, if an important game component fails, the game stops the process and outputs a fatal error to the debugger.
