[p]Hello everyone, this is the last dev blog of this update. On September 22 the update will be released, and there will also be the coolest discount :) As always, you can test this update in the test branch. So, to the point: [/p]
What has been done recently:
[h2]New features and changes[/h2]
  • [p]Added a basket for buying all the parts at once from all parts sellers. After the purchase, all parts from the shelves are automatically sent to the warehouse.[/p]
  • [p]The character now moves slower while crouching. If he is tired, the speed will be even lower.[/p]
  • [p]Added a new icon in the inventory: if you hired a garbage man, a mark will appear on the parts in the warehouse that they can be processed remotely.[/p]
  • [p]Added saves for the research machine.[/p]
  • [p]Added experience gain when selecting a studied blueprint.[/p]
  • [p]Fiished the detail studying system: added sounds and a tutorial. [/p][p][/p]
[p][/p][h2]Events and seasonal content[/h2][p]New Halloween event:[/p]
  • [p]Instead of rain, there will be fog.[/p]
  • [p]New Halloween skins for NPCs.[/p]
  • [p]Pumpkins will appear on the streets; if you set them on fire, you can get +20% bonus experience from the maximum.[/p]
  • [p]New Hallowee music.[/p]
  • [p]Halloween-themed main menu Just like other events, Halloeen will be activated every October.

[h2]Gameplay improvements[/h2]
  • [p] Added a new Custom Mode, where you can immediately choose the desired settings: [/p]
  • [p]Disable hunger and energy drain. [/p]
  • [p]Disable weather. [/p]
  • [p]Enable one of the available seasons. [/p]
  • [p]Change daytime. [/p]
  • [p]Change nighttime. [/p]
  • [p]Select game difficulty (Now only in Custom Mode). [/p]
  • [p]Cheats are now enabled by deault in Custom Mode and Creative Mode. [/p]
  • [p]In Story Mode, cheats cannot be enabled. [/p]
  • [p]Returned the old shooting range system: now residents will come to the shooting range with their purchased weapons and shoot. The price depends on the level of the shooting range. The old shooting range also works as before — you can put weapons and ammo there. If there are no bulles in the shooting range, residents will still come with their purchased weapons.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where in winter there were no walking sounds in the snow for the player and residents.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where parts from gifts were not sent to the warehouse but taken in hand.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where Historical Mode did not work correctly (thanks @Stephen Softpaws 💙).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed other minor issues. [/p]

Small Dev Blog


Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you the latest changes and new features. All of this is already available in the test branch, but I don’t recommend running it on your saves yet — there’s still a lot of work in progress, and something might go wrong and break your main game.

[h2]New Mechanics[/h2]
  • Added a Researcher machine: it studies parts and gives out a blueprint of that part. After studying it, you’ll be able to craft it, but you’ll lose the original part.
  • Added a card re-roll mechanic: if the cards don’t suit you, you can re-roll them until your attempts run out.
  • Introduced a bonus re-roll card: its rarity determines how many extra re-rolls you get.


[h2]Blueprint Changes[/h2]
  • Price increased (from 250 to 450).
  • Chance of appearance reduced to 40% — they will be sold less frequently.
  • Added new blueprints: now you can study all existing parts in the game.


[h2]Balance & Improvements[/h2]
  • Added night brightness adjustment — now everyone can tweak it to their liking.
  • Increased global brightness (including during rain).
  • Slightly strengthened shadows to balance the brightness increase.
  • Canceling cards now gives not a fixed 100 XP, but 25% of the maximum XP required to reach the next level.


[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed a bug where Mr. Daryl’s name in dialogues was displayed incorrectly.


[h2]Upcoming Events[/h2]
  • Preparation of locations for the Winter Event is already in full swing.
  • Fixing old terrain bugs.
  • Started preparing for Halloween this year. From now on, Halloween will launch every October.

Thanks to everyone who leaves reviews — both positive and negative. I see all your comments and try to fix and implement them into the game. I don’t ignore feedback, I just sort it by importance.

I also wanted to make the dialogue text smaller for easier reading, but I need more time to do this carefully — I’m afraid to break something before the update, and this is very important.

It's time for a small but no less interesting update
Thanks to everyone who supports the game with positive reviews. This update includes many pleasant changes, some of which have been requested for a long time, and now they are here

[h2]Added[/h2]
  • Added a statistics window before sleep, now you will understand where you earn and where you spend (very useful for strategy planning)
  • Added the ability to upgrade the warehouse, this opens up the ability to highlight parts for quests and orders. Assembling weapons becomes easier
  • Added advertisement banners for service, shooting range, and toilets, after building them more residents will visit
  • Now, ammo in the shooting range will transfer to the new level after upgrading
  • Added text on the ammo showing how many shooting range attempts they give
  • Added a chance to find blueprints on the map from Karl, now he can bring blueprints from his trips
  • Added the ability to drink from the cooler
  • Added a decor building that increases received tips
  • Added an icon above the bio toilet showing that it's dirty (now easier to know when to clean it)
  • Added salary display for tomorrow, now you will know how much will be deducted for wages
  • Added reputation loss if you close the door in the service area while a customer is entering
  • Added tool breakage for cleaning or repairing quest items
  • Added reputation loss if you don’t pay a worker (if you have no money, set it as a day off)
  • Added messages when reputation is lost
  • Added the ability to add or remove items in the queue in the auto craft tab

  • Added item receiving animations for quest characters

  • Changed phone call behavior, if you have a worker at the cash register or service, the phone will not ring (so it won’t distract you)
  • Changed Karl’s balance, now distant points bring more rewards (money, experience, scrap)
  • Increased decor price
  • Changed water collection, now water will gather every hour, and more during rain
  • Scrap and money were rebalanced to fit new and old mechanics
  • Residents now leave more trash (depends on reputation)
  • After building the final level of the workbench, the lamp will be initially turned on
  • Daryl now buys weapons for full price and only with money
  • Tutorial videos can now be skipped after 10 seconds

  • Fixed a bug where workers' salaries were not deducted after sleep
