Farham, the returning champion, took home another victory!
Although he was competing against Ohrye, a veteran with more than a thousand dives under his belt, Farham managed to make it all the way and even gather the Ommoran Heartstone for Management to secure the ultimate victory with 117,893 Employee score. An employee of the month, if ever there was one![/p][p][/p][h2]And now we put the Ultimate challenge to you![/h2][p]Can you beat the contestants? In just a few short days, we will redefine the concept of sports.

This happens, of course, at the grand finale of the 2026 Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor - Ultimate Challenge Invitationals. In front of a live audience at Copenhagen Gaming Week (and around the world via Twitch and Youtube), we’ll witness Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor at its absolute maximum difficulty, as contestants face a custom build tailor-made to be more punishing than anything we’ve ever seen.

It will be, in no uncertain terms, the uncompromising pinnacle of athletic achievement, and a defining moment in sports entertainment.

On Thursday, February 12th, our brave contestants will compete on the world stage for the right to call themselves the Ultimate Survivor. On the line, of course, is the coveted Heavyweight Championship title belt — and there’s only one room for one champion.

Last week’s quarterfinals saw three contestants eliminated over three breakneck blitz matches, leaving us four finalists to compete at the championship.

The hour of greatness approaches. We’re on the road to the historic final tournament of the Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor - Ultimate Challenge Invitationals, which will broadcast live next week on February 12th.

But the action already begins this week! It’s time to reveal your contestants for this year’s tournament — and they’ll face their first challenge in just two days, as they compete in a live broadcast quarterfinal round in hopes of making it on to the finals. These quarterfinals will be live on our Twitch and Youtube channels this Wednesday, February 4th at 16:00 CET.

This year’s contestants are:

• Merkaba18
• OHRye
• ReapeeRon
• rexalicious
• Siirvend

These stellar athletes have been randomly seeded into our tournament bracket, and will compete head-to-head to advance to the finals. Farham, as the winner of the previous Invitationals and current Champion, receives a pass for the quarterfinals and will automatically progress to the finals.


The winners of each round will progress onwards to the Ultimate Challenge Invitationals finals next Thursday, February 12th before a live audience at Copenhagen Gaming Week, and around the world via Twitch and Youtube.

In case you were one of the few who did not see our universally-beloved 2024 debut, the Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor - Ultimate Challenge Invitationals is scientifically proven to be the most important sports event in the world.

This live broadcast esports event pits players head-to-head for the highest score in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. The game has sold over 2 million copies since it launched to Early Access, cultivating an incredible pool of sporting potential. Now, once again, we’ve invited the game’s top players to take on custom-made levels designed to push the envelope of esports performance.

We’ll take you right to the heart of the action with live play-by-play commentary from our in-house sports journalists and splitscreen coverage of each head-to-head match as it all plays out in this single-elimination tournament.

It’s all kicking off with an unforgettable live broadcast on Thursday, February 12th at 15:45 CEST. A recording will of course be available after. But nobody bragged to their grandkids about seeing a recording of the moon landing, did they?

[h2]How’s it going to work?[/h2]

To compete in the 2026 Invitationals, our talent scouts have identified eight thoroughbred esports stallions, each with hundreds of hours of training in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor.

These eight elite athletes will begin the tournament in random-matchup qualifier rounds. In each round of this tournament, competitors will be playing head-to-head in a pre-seeded match on Hazard 5 difficulty, with additional challenge modifiers thrown on top. They’ll be playing a competition version of DRG: Survivor, with special modifiers, challenge vectors and grueling conditions to test the mettle of any aspiring champion.

In every round, the player with the highest score will advance to the next stage of the tournament. But when the sun sets on the Invitationals, only one can be the true champion.
