[p]This August 15th, something wonderful is taking flight.[/p][p]For the very first time, we are coming together to celebrate the creativity, talent, and imagination of the Sky community through the Sky Creator Awards![/p][p][/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]We have been honored to receive over 4,000 submissions from more than 2,000 creators around the world. From heartfelt stories to breathtaking art, every entry was a reminder of just how inspiring this community can be.[/p][p]To honor this creativity, a special panel of judges from thatgamecompany has come together, including members of our design, art, community, and social teams … and even our studio’s founder, Jenova Chen. The entire ceremony has been designed to shine a spotlight on the creators’ work, and let the whole community celebrate them.[/p][p]Here’s everything you need to know to follow along![/p][p][/p][p]![]()

Begin the evening with a warm welcome! Join us in Aviary Village, outside the cinema, for an exclusive opening show featuring creator interviews, casual conversations, and a cozy concert with Creator Troupe. This is the perfect time to settle in, connect with others, and get ready for a very special night.[/p][p][/p][p]18:30 – Act I: Opening & First Categories
The ceremony begins!
We’ll introduce the Sky Creator Awards and explore the heart of our creative community with the first set of categories: Crafts, Livestreams, Cosplay, and Storytelling. These awards celebrate creators who bring Sky to life through hands-on imagination and personal connection.[/p][p][/p][p]19:00 – Act II: The Art of Play
Next, we dive into the vibrant and expressive world of: Gameplay, Illustration, Music, and Sky Scapes. From thrilling in-game moments to peaceful scenes captured through sound and color, these works have moved and inspired us in countless ways.[/p][p][/p][p]19:30 – Act III: A Sky Full of Stars
For our final act, we’ll hear a special message from Jenova Chen, followed by two of our most prestigious distinctions: the Sky Community Award and the Sky Content of the Year Award.
Then, we’ll close the night with a joyful celebration of all our winners—a moment to reflect, cheer, and feel proud of everything this community has created together.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h3]Throughout the Night[/h3][p]The fun doesn’t stop between awards!
