News: Latest Preview Report on the Fashion System
▶︎ Author: Hello dear Café Managers!
Today, we interviewed Little Devil to unveil new features for Feed the Cups! Now, Little Devil, could you introduce today's announcement?

During last year's Christmas, this year's New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, and Chinese New Year, everyone wore special holiday outfits. If you logged into the leaderboard on those holidays, you'll unlock these outfits in the upcoming Fashion System.
I'm thrilled to announce that the Fashion System, powered by Steam Inventory Service, will launch soon!
You can dress each character with customizable outfit pieces. These will be visible in single-player mode, local co-op, and online multiplayer — both at home and in your café. However, functional equipment purchased for the café will override outfit displays (café uniforms must follow dress code policies, after all!).
▶︎ Author: You mentioned that each character can equip outfits in different slots. Could you elaborate?

◉ Little Devil:
Outfit slots are divided into Head (hats), Face (masks), Body (clothing), Hands (gloves), Legs (shoes), and Accessories (multi-part items).
Each character can equip 6 slots.
Exceptions:
Ghosts cannot equip Hands or Legs but get 2 extra Accessories.
Slimes cannot equip Legs and gain 1 extra Accessory.
Note: Only 1 Accessory per slot will be displayed if multiple are equipped.
◉ Little Devil:
Three new furniture items will be added:
Wardrobe: Unlocks Body and Accessories slots.
Coat Rack: Unlocks Head and Face slots.
Shoe Cabinet: Unlocks Hands and Legs slots.
◉ Little Devil:
The Fashion System uses Steam Inventory Service.
Play 30 minutes daily and upload scores to the leaderboard to earn a random outfit.
New outfits arrive via mailbox notifications in-game.
10-hour cooldown per unlock during testing.
Legacy rewards: Players who logged into leaderboards during Christmas 2023, 2024 New Year, Valentine’s Day, or Chinese New Year will automatically receive holiday-themed outfits (e.g., Santa hats for all unlocked characters).
▶︎ Author: What happens to duplicate outfits?

◉ Little Devil:
Duplicates can be dismantled into materials for future use.
Current limitation: Due to a bug in GodotSteam 3.6, dismantling is temporarily disabled. We’re working with the GodotSteam team to resolve this.
[Note: Original design included "outfit gift boxes" unlocked post-match, but we simplified it due to engine constraints.]
▶︎ Author: Can outfits be traded on Steam Market?

◉ Little Devil:
Not yet: GodotSteam’s inventory issues prevent market integration.
Testing-phase outfits will be permanently retained.
Market and trading features may be added post-launch.
▶︎ Author: When will the Fashion System beta begin?

◉ Little Devil:
Core features are ready: outfit acquisition, mail alerts, customization UI, multiplayer sync, etc.
Beta launches after final optimizations and additional outfit designs.
Engine upgraded to GodotSteam 3.6 (from 3.5) to fix inventory bugs, but expect potential quirks during testing.
◉ Author: Thank you, Xiao E’mo, for this sneak peek! Below is a work-in-progress wardrobe screenshot – visuals are not final!
