News: Latest Preview Report on the Fashion System

Today, we interviewed Little Devil to unveil new features for Feed the Cups! Now, Little Devil, could you introduce today's announcement?‌

During last year's ‌Christmas‌, this year's ‌New Year's Day‌, ‌Valentine's Day‌, and ‌Chinese New Year‌, everyone wore ‌special holiday outfits‌. If you logged into the ‌leaderboard‌ on those holidays, you'll unlock these outfits in the upcoming ‌Fashion System‌.
I'm thrilled to announce that the ‌Fashion System‌, powered by ‌Steam Inventory Service‌, will launch soon!
You can dress each character with customizable outfit pieces. These will be visible in ‌single-player mode, local co-op, and online multiplayer‌ — both at home and in your café. However, ‌functional equipment purchased for the café will override outfit displays‌ (café uniforms must follow dress code policies, after all!).

Outfit slots are divided into ‌Head‌ (hats), ‌Face‌ (masks), ‌Body‌ (clothing), ‌Hands‌ (gloves), ‌Legs‌ (shoes), and ‌Accessories‌ (multi-part items).
Each character can equip ‌6 slots‌.
Exceptions:
‌Ghosts‌ cannot equip ‌Hands‌ or ‌Legs‌ but get ‌2 extra Accessories‌.
‌Slimes‌ cannot equip ‌Legs‌ and gain ‌1 extra Accessory‌.
Note: Only ‌1 Accessory per slot‌ will be displayed if multiple are equipped.

Three new furniture items will be added:
‌Wardrobe‌: Unlocks ‌Body‌ and ‌Accessories‌ slots.
‌Coat Rack‌: Unlocks ‌Head‌ and ‌Face‌ slots.
‌Shoe Cabinet‌: Unlocks ‌Hands‌ and ‌Legs‌ slots.

The ‌Fashion System‌ uses ‌Steam Inventory Service‌.
Play ‌30 minutes daily‌ and ‌upload scores to the leaderboard‌ to earn a random outfit.
New outfits arrive via ‌mailbox notifications‌ in-game.
‌10-hour cooldown‌ per unlock during testing.
‌Legacy rewards‌: Players who logged into leaderboards during ‌Christmas 2023‌, ‌2024 New Year‌, ‌Valentine’s Day‌, or ‌Chinese New Year‌ will automatically receive ‌holiday-themed outfits‌ (e.g., Santa hats for all unlocked characters).

Duplicates can be ‌dismantled into materials‌ for future use.
Current limitation: Due to a bug in ‌GodotSteam 3.6‌, dismantling is temporarily disabled. We’re working with the GodotSteam team to resolve this.
[Note: Original design included "outfit gift boxes" unlocked post-match, but we simplified it due to engine constraints.]

‌Not yet‌: GodotSteam’s inventory issues prevent market integration.
‌Testing-phase outfits‌ will be ‌permanently retained‌.
Market and trading features may be added post-launch.

Core features are ready: outfit acquisition, mail alerts, customization UI, multiplayer sync, etc.
Beta launches after final optimizations and additional outfit designs.
‌Engine upgraded to GodotSteam 3.6‌ (from 3.5) to fix inventory bugs, but expect potential quirks during testing.

Perfectionist: +1 pressure for imperfect drinks.
(Unlockable through upgrades) Sales: When serving drinks, critical hit rate +5%.
(Unlockable through upgrades) Hard Sell: You can serve drinks with mistakes, but it will increase pressure.
(Unlockable through upgrades) Cute Appeal: Press the skill button to increase the price multiplier for surrounding customers.

  • Added the "Pest Expert" achievement to the achievement cabinet. (Requires playing up to Chapter 6)
  • Fixed issue where the manual worker appeared with test invalid equipment.
  • Fixed issue where the gacha machine opened incomplete screens.
  • Fixed issue where test invalid cards appeared when extracting gift cards.
  • Fixed issue where a box of chia seeds would put cans directly into the small ingredient box.
  • Fixed issue where orange text logic wasn't working.
  • Reconstructed translation text logic (there may be some text display errors).
  • Optimized color display logic in text.
  • Fixed issue where secondary machine's first clear rewards weren't being settled in multiplayer.
  • Attempted to fix issue where multiple staff bought the same equipment in multiplayer, causing duplication.
  • Fixed issue where old versions' unsolved settlements caused the new version to freeze during settlement.

Recent Update Summary:
  • Fixed the issue where the game would freeze during settlement when entering the game in a new version without settling in the old version.
  • Fixed the issue where the host's reputation-to-gold conversion was not synced for the secondary player in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed the issue where players couldn't operate after being hit by a baseball while stirring.
  • Fixed the display error during settlement when the card "Perfect Day" and the exhibit "Scalper Resale" coexisted.
  • Attempted to fix the issue where players would fall and not get up after being hit by baseballs in quick succession.
  • Adjusted character collision logic to fix the issue where ghosts couldn't pass through the study door.
  • Reconstructed the "beat-up" logic to calculate time based on the number of small ingredients in the drink cup.
  • Updated the pressure initialization synchronization logic in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed the issue where the milk pot could be heated overnight after being damaged with contents inside.
  • Added information prompts for interactions between the milk pot and the trash can.
  • Fixed the issue where reputation values could display decimal points in certain cases.
  • Slightly adjusted the coordinates of large cup ingredients to prevent ice effects from being blocked.
  • Fixed the issue where gold earned on the last day or after reaching max reputation was not included in the settlement.
  • Updated the animation for sitting upward on cushions.
  • Added prompt text for when fruits are placed into the slicer without a small ingredient box.
  • Synchronized the coordinates of items placed on the ground in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed the inspector synchronization issue in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed the issue where pressure was displayed incorrectly when returning home after clearing a level in multiplayer mode.
  • Optimized based on the total number of NPCs in the scene. Too many NPCs may cause lag in multiplayer mode.
  • The milk pot will no longer interact with the measuring cup before water and sugar are turned into syrup.
  • Customers in 6-4 will no longer crowd into the pond while queuing.
  • Fixed the issue where already selected small ingredients would reappear when choosing ingredients.
  • Fixed the issue where the color of the large cup was displayed incorrectly.

[h2]Important Changes and Optimizations:[/h2]
  • Gifts obtained through reputation now have a limit. The initial limit is 10, which can be increased by purchasing furniture or trophies.
  • When reputation reaches the limit or on the last day of business, reputation points will automatically convert into cup coin income.
  • New powerful trophies have been added to the display cabinet, enriching gameplay!
  • The system now plans the business hours for each level. The original 9-day operation duration is removed, and the daily operation time is extended to compensate.
  • Beaver's active skill time has been doubled to 30 seconds.
  • Tapioca no longer spoils in one day; it now spoils in two days. Boxes with the same ingredients can now be combined.
  • The old house has new furniture, and chair-type furniture can now be interacted with. The previous furniture effects are replaced with new curtain-type furniture.
