Your farm won’t be short of adorable animals with Tales of Seikyu’s brand-new pet adoption system. In the world of Seikyu, pets aren’t bought – they’re discovered. Encounter animals in the wild, earn their trust through feeding and play, then bring them home as lifelong companions! Each pet type has its own ecology, personality traits, and colours. At home, your pets share in your daily life, bringing touching moments of friendship and connection, and sometimes aiding your journey with rare finds! There will be four species of pets for you to discover (with colour variations in each), including dogs, cats, lizards, and aardwolves!

Feeling chilly? It could be the cold winter air…or it could be the first signs of your new Yuki-onna transformation! The Yuki-onna is a powerful ice yokai with the ability to control frost and snow, and to float through the air ❄ Sometimes referred to as an “ice witch”, this beautiful yokai form is said to have the power to freeze your heart with a single breath. It’s unknown where these mysterious ice powers come from, but they’ll certainly help you on your quest to uncover the secrets of your ancestry.
[h2]The Story Continues, Explore the Ruins![/h2]
Last we left off, you were getting used to the arrival of the tanuki general, Kincho. This coincided with a mysterious illness inflicted upon your sister, Kon. Are the two linked in some way? Can Kincho be trusted? What will become of your poor sister? The answers lie in this next chapter. Expect new boss battles and areas to explore in the ruins as you get closer and closer to revealing the mysteries that lie within.

Deepen your relationships with Seikyu’s romanceable villagers, with new heart events for…
We’re also adding fun new heart events for some of the non-romanceable villagers such as Kinntarou, Seabert, Prince, and the three brothers! Get to know everybody in Seikyu and watch the village’s story come to life 🌸

It’s always a joy to go to the hot springs, but did you know that you’ll soon be able to invite your favourite villagers to hang out at Seikyu’s tavern? Enjoy cozy dates with delicious drinks and get to know Seikyu’s residents against this lively backdrop. It’s a great way to deepen your relationships and to find out more about the object of your affection. Just remember not to double book yourself…

Dress up your pets (and Kon!) with adorable accessories; enjoy an all-new farmhouse expansion; experience oodles of new villager dialogue and one-liners; the list goes on. We’ve also been working hard on bug fixes and optimisation alongside all the new content you can expect in this update, and we’re excited to announce that Tales of Seikyu is now officially Steam Deck verified! Early Access is a wonderful journey that allows us to develop the game with your feedback in mind, and we’ll be continuing to polish the overall Tales of Seikyu experience with further optimisations, bug fixes, and quality-of-life features with each update.
