Seabert's Guide to Seikyu - The Countryside (Part #4)
Okay Seabert, this is it…the last part of the guide. You gave it your all and the foxes are gonna be so impressed. They’ll say “Wow, Seabert, thank you so much! We feel ready to move to Seikyu now thanks to your awesome guide.” Then, maybe Mayor Oda will see that you’re ready for more responsibilities and she’ll eve- OH MY GOSH! I didn’t see you there…how much of that did you hear?! Uhh…h-here. This is p-part f-four of the guide…I-I have to go…sorry… ฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ
Pearl Lake
Pearl Lake is a huuuge lake just outside of Seikyu village. Uncle Torleone says it’s full of fresh-water fish but that I’m not to go there without him since it’s out in the countryside and there’s a risk of running into s-scary yokai who wanna fight. Thankfully, Uncle Torleone was happy to go with me to take pictures. He even brought his fishing rod and caught us something for lunch! He said that you can find all sorts of treasure deep down at the bottom of the lake but you’d need to be a good swimmer and be able to hold your breath for a really long time to get to it. I wanted to hear some more, but a whole bunch of Slimes started to appear from under the water and Uncle Torleone said it was time to go.
Sakura Tree
For our next stop, Uncle Torleone said we should go somewhere real pretty. He said “There are lots of interesting and historical sights in Seikyu, but sometimes it’s nice to just relax in nature.” My uncle is pretty wise, but I didn’t know relaxing involved so much walking! We had to go all the way up to the top of a big hill to get this picture. Right at the top was a pretty cherry blossom tree and a cool statue of a frog. The hill overlooked the whole village and it made me feel really small but somehow also kinda big all at the same time? It was nice. On our way back down the hill we bumped into that girl with the big fluffy tail who’s always hanging around with Kababa. I guess she likes it up here too!
Bamboo Forest
Can I tell you a secret? I’ve always wanted to go to the Bamboo Forest, but I don’t get out of Seikyu village much. You’ll probably be able to visit it often, though, since it’s not too far from your new farmhouse! The Bamboo Forest is a cool and mysterious place, b-but I wouldn’t wanna visit it at night. There’s a rumour that you can hear a strange melody from the Bamboo forest carrying on the wind in the evenings and s-some people think it might be a g-ghost.
Hot Springs
We took a wrong turn on the way home and found this last place by accident! It turns out there are plans to open a hot springs in Seikyu in the future…how cool is that? We met a really pretty girl here who was telling us all about the healing properties of the water and she even showed us around, but she asked me not to take any pictures of the springs just yet. I guess they’re not ready. She did say we could take a picture in the reception area though, which was pretty nice. I can’t wait to come here when it opens, especially after a big fishing trip with Uncle Torleone. I bet it’s like sitting in a giant bathtub! The only problem is that I’m not sure how we’re gonna find the place again. We didn’t think to mark it down on our map…oops.

O-okay, that’s the last part of my guide! I hope you liked it and I’m glad I was able to finish it before you arrived. It’s not long now until I’ll be meeting you at the customs and registration office! D-don’t sneak up on me this time, okay?
