After 100 years, former Soviet Union countries still commemorate the “Defenders of the Fatherland” day. It is one the holidays that are important in these countries and celebrates the bravery and tenacity of their forefathers tracking back to World War 1. As we are all one big happy family in War Thunder, we can all benefit from this holiday.

• Participate in 3 battles (in vehicles of rank III and above and with a game activity of 60% or higher) to receive one of the following decals: "Grenade", "Shield Star" or "February 23".
  
• Win 5 times (in vehicles of rank III and above and with a game activity of 60% or higher) to get the unique “Round Shield (Lion)” decoration.

The premium T-34 (1st Gv.T.Br.) Soviet tank and the IL-2 "Avenger" attacker can be purchased for Golden Eagles directly in the game.
