Happy Cosmonautics Day!

61 years ago, humankind made its first piloted flight into outer space! The whole world watched this flight with baited breath. People from all around the world were united by the idea of space flight, great discoveries and new knowledge, setting a new goal for mankind.
Today we continue our way into the unknown, which began with a simple dream and the shout “Let’s go!”.
War Thunder celebrates this day, which has united people for a long time.

[h3]From April 12th (14:00 GMT) until April 15th (07:00 GMT) play 3 battles in Random battles in any vehicle (rank III and above, activity 70% and higher) to achieve a special "Open space" decal.[/h3]

[h2][PvE] Helicopter battles[/h2]

BR ranges have been changed from 7.7-9.3 / 9.7+ to 7.7-9.0 / 9.3+.
Calculation period for useful actions has been changed from 15 to 10 minutes.
Activity counters, rewards for useful actions, and RP reward at the end of a session have been adjusted and split into the BR ranges.
Mi-24A — battle rating in Arcade battles has been changed from 9.0 to 9.3.

War Thunder gets officially Steam Deck Verified

Gaijin Entertainment has updated War Thunder, and as a result it went through Deck Verified once again to get a fully Verified status for the Steam Deck.

Good news everyone! The War Thunder development team have fully optimized the game for the newest Steam Deck gaming devices that hit the shelves at the end of February. Steam Deck players were able to play War Thunder right from the platform’s release point, but there were still some minor compatibility issues. We did our best to complete optimization, and are proud to announce the full compatibility check mark recently received from the Steam Deck developers.

Hundreds of thousands players worldwide come to play War Thunder daily. Players from various platforms can take command of combat vehicles in one battle: Windows, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Linux. Now, a growing audience of Steam Deck owners joins us, who are able to play with their Steam account and easily share the achieved progress between platforms. Welcome aboard!

MiG-23MLA — a bug has been fixed that resulted in flares/chaff flying in front of the aircraft.
М197 gun — overheating time has been reduced.
F-84F (all versions) — a bug has been fixed that allowed using the weapon selector to fire the upper row of the HVAR rockets before the lower.
Nesher — a bug has been fixed where in some weapon setups the MK82 bombs might be visually detached from pylons.

ELC bis — a bug that created additional missing camouflages has been fixed.
ZTZ88A — a bug has been fixed that prevented obtaining some of the additional camouflages for completing tasks.
