In the War Thunder "Ixwa Strike" update we will be introducing a new location for mixed battles, tentatively called "Seversk-13".

The abandoned Soviet military town of Seversk-13 and its environment will become a new battleground for the armoured vehicles and aircraft of War Thunder with the release of the “Ixwa Strike” major update. The central zone in the location is an area near the cultural centre, surrounded by administrative and industrial buildings. It is adjacent to a residential zone of ​​late Soviet paneled prefab buildings and a small garage cooperative. Plenty room for hide and seek style gameplay.

The Polish Leopard 2PL main battle tank is a new squadron vehicle that will be available after the release of the “Ixwa Strike” update.

In War Thunder, the Leopard 2PL will become a new squadron vehicle and will appear after release of the “Ixwa Strike” update. The add-on armor modules on the turret significantly improve the tank's resistance to hits from HE and to a lesser extent kinetic projectiles, and the upgraded fire-control system will allow the use of advanced rounds: the new to the game programmable high-explosive fragmentation DM11 projectile and the effective DM33 APFSDS shell.

The A6M5 Hei is a late modification of the well-known Japanese ‘Zero’ fighter, fitted with much heavier armament than preceding variants. Soon, the A6M5 Hei will expand the Zero family of aircraft in the Japanese aviation tree with the release of the next major War Thunder update “Ixwa Strike”!

In War Thunder, the A6M5 Hei is arriving to the game with the upcoming update “Ixwa Strike” as a new rank III fighter of the Japanese aviation tree, thus expanding the formidable ‘Zero’ family by a further aircraft. Although still retaining most of the trademark characteristics of a ‘Zero’, the A6M5 Hei does put Reisen Senseis in front of a difficult decision: Namely, are they willing to sacrifice performance for firepower?





The A6M5 Hei will become available to all pilots at rank III of the Japanese aviation tree, following the release of the next major War Thunder update. This tank helps research any British armoured vehicles from rank I to VI, including the new South African tanks.





The Centurion Mk.5 / 1 (RAAC) is an excellent medium tank that will become a trump card in the UK rank V armoured vehicle setup.
