July Bug Fix / Improvements Update

[p]We've got a small bug fix and improve update for folks, which aligns the Steam version with all of the updates from the recently launched mobile version.[/p][p][/p][p]With these fixes out of the way, we'll be turning out attention to some new content! We're in the prototype phase for a new brawler and will share some more detail soon. [/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for all the love & support for Rustbowl Rumble![/p][p][/p][p]IMPROVEMENTS[/p][p]- Health previews in battle now show current health as well[/p][p]- Slight increase to size of buff icon values[/p][p][/p][p]FIXES[/p][p]- #1910: Cards like Weak Spot and similar will no longer be chosen for random card upgrades that aren't useful[/p][p]- #1913: Fixed an issue where the town camera could have an incorrect zoom level if inspecting a unit while the battle is finishing[/p][p]- #1914: Fixed a bug where Glowing perk didn't give bonus stamina as intended[/p][p]- #1915: When resuming a game, cards in the shop are no longer missing their upgrades[/p][p]- #1923: Block is now always consumed before armor[/p][p]- #1924: Cards that grant energy now properly show a blue instead of a green lightning bolt icon[/p][p]- #1926: Fixed an issue where entering a battle, exiting, and revisiting town would populate shops with different items[/p][p]- #1927: Fixed a rare issue where buying perks could cause money to go negative[/p][p]- #1928: Dealing damage with Mischief after completing her Bad Apple perk should apply the correct amount of poison[/p][p]- Fix a few memory leaks to improve performance in longer sessions[/p]

Say hello to Rustbowl Rumble!



We're doing something pretty unconventional: we're renaming our game! From today forward, Meteorfall: Bramble Royale will be named Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble.

One of the most common feedbacks we've gotten is on the word 'Royale': many people thought that this was a 'battle royale' game at first glance, which turned off many players that weren't looking for that type of game. As a small indie dev, you have only brief seconds to make an impression, and losing a player based on the name alone is pretty bad!

All the gameplay and mechanics are still the same, nothing is changing here. The only difference is that you'll notice that the name of the game in your steam client now reflects the new branding, and you'll see a new logo on the title screen.

We wanted to make this change ahead of the upcoming iOS & Android launch. That way, players who see the updated Rustbowl Rumble name on the iOS/Google Play Store will be able to recognize the same game name on Steam.

We're getting pretty close on the mobile release and hope to launch in June. Once that's done, it'll be time to switch back to my favorite task: add new content! We're in the brainstorming phase for some new cards, mechanics and heroes for Rustbowl Rumble, and I can't wait to share more soon!

Bug Fix Update - May 2

IMPROVEMENTS
- Tapa's starting deck has been updated with Tapa specific cards / mods

BUGS
- Fixed a bug where Big Bang Theory wasn't properly counting upgrades as part of the achievement conditions
- Peaceful should properly trigger if no cards are played, even while using perks like Guerilla which add a 'default attack'
- Fixed a bug where achievements like Super Strength were not achieved. If you previously tried to achieve this, you will need to meet the conditions again.
- Fixed an issue where some players were unable to get achievements for unlocking certain heroes. Visit the 'Unlocks' page on main menu to sync your state and get credit for those achievements

BALANCE
- Goobernaut's perk will no longer target heroes that use curses

April 4 Patches Notes

Fixed a bug where We Will Survive and Super Strength achievements were not unlocking. If you previously achieved these, you can go into the Unlock screen on the main menu to sync your achievement state.
