Demo 2.6.0 - Adjustments to demo

Hi players,

It's been months since the last update, and I've worked hard all day to bring you this new demo version. I hope you enjoy a better experience with these changes!

  • Increased the hitbox of The Parasite, making it easier to hit with the bow.
  • Arrows now fire from the exact position where you aim your bow.
  • Smoother boss and player movement.
  • Slightly reduced wait time for using the bow and DNA vial, making them easier to use.
  • Removed unnecessary dialogues for a more streamlined experience.
  • Optimized performance for better gameplay.
  • Removed all localization due to significant dialogue changes in the previous version. Only Vietnamese and English are now available. A special thanks to all translators who joined the Discord and volunteered to help with the project!
  • Numerous backend improvements.

Devlog 13 - More overhauls!

Hey everyone! I’m really excited to share some updates with you today.

[h2]New Dialogue System[/h2]
I felt the old dialogue style was a bit outdated, so I gave it a fresh, modern look. Hopefully, it feels more engaging.



[h2]Dynamic Weather Changes[/h2]
Weather is now more than just a backdrop—it’s unpredictable and can even be dangerous. I think this will add a layer of intensity to your travels, keeping you on your toes as you explore.



[h2]More Side Quests[/h2]
The main quest is heavily story-driven, but I’m adding tons of side quests to expand the world. These smaller stories give you more freedom to dive into different aspects of the game’s lore and characters.



[h2]Progress Update[/h2]
One ending still needs to be finalized, and there’s plenty of tweaking and polishing left to do. But progress is steady, and I’m working hard to bring everything together.

Demo 2.5.0 - A better demo

Hi players,

A new demo update has been released with some crazy changes. Please see below.

[h3]100% New Dialogues[/h3]
The dialogues have been reworked completely. Special thanks to An Airborne Cat for helping me with English issues. I'm confident the dialogue in this update is better, more natural, more fluid, and has more emotion attached to each character.

[h3]Less Dialogue[/h3]
A lot of original dialogue has been removed. The demo, originally designed for a 15-minute play, can now probably be finished within 10 minutes. The good thing is that means you can try the combat quicker.

[h3]Characters Show More Emotion[/h3]
Nope, Jack is still chill, but in this update, I've added some details that help with character development.

[h3]Tutorial Boss Adjustment[/h3]
I got feedback about the boss fight being too long and that she had too much health. I reduced her health and added a minor move to ensure she isn't too easy to defeat.

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
A lot of bugs have been fixed, including:
- Location bug when saving/loading game
- Killing "that guy" no longer results in the scenario where he's still alive if you kill him too late.

Thank you all for the feedback. It helped me a lot to improve the game.

Devlog 12 - New gifs and the state of the game

I feel like I've shown too much about the combat without showing you guys the story, the characters, and the puzzles. I'm adding more puzzles that only your dog can solve or require both to work together.



[h3]Progression[/h3]
The game is about 90% complete, with only one story branch left to wrap up. I've been expanding it by adding more puzzles and areas, creating a bigger world filled with activities. You can explore anywhere without restrictions and reach certain areas in multiple ways, giving it a mini open-world feel.
