Luna’s Diary: Meet the Mounts

Hello again, it’s Luna! Me and Niko have been so busy on our journey through The Magical World that we forgot to properly introduce our friends!

Across the many realms you’ll explore, you’ll meet Mounts to assist you—they’re not only useful rides, but valuable allies in battle.
Dino the Dinosaur
Dino the Dinosaur is as strong as he is scaly, and this mean, green, chomping machine was a huge advantage against Cobrings! Dino eats enemies and spits them back out, which is super useful to defeat other foes or break through obstacles.
Todd the Toad
Todd the Toad is our favorite ally amphibian, able to jump incredibly high with his lofty leaps, allowing me and Niko to reach new heights of exploration. This versatile verdant companion also spits venom at enemies, so we could breeze through foes with ease from a distance.
Boaris the Boar
Boaris the Boar is a sturdy swine capable of charging enemies and smashing through obstacles like a knife through butter. Boaris’ forward charge busts through barriers and knocks back enemies in his path. Our porcine pal was definitely a durable companion when we were faced with big groups of Cobrings!
Oceanis the Seahorse
While mongooses can’t breathe underwater, Oceanis sure can! Not only that, our Pacific pal is a speed swimmer, who helped us out a lot in aquatic environments. Oceanis is not only a great mount for maneuvering through murky depths, but also has a ranged laser beam attack to defeat underwater foes and clear obstacles!
Umbra the Bat
We’d have gone truly batty without Umbra to help us out in certain aerial situations! Umbra the Bat gave us the power of flight, allowing us to discover secret areas, reach elevated platforms, and avoid flying foes. Umbra’s sonic screech attack also damages enemies and breaks barriers.

Now you know all about your new mounts, get out there and start chomping, flying, swimming, and charging! Luna, signin’ off!
