Bug fixes
  • Fixed an issue with the campaign that would prevent some DLC Relic cards from appearing
  • Fixed an issue with the campaign that would prevent the DLC Banker commoner card from appearing
  • Fixed an issue with the campaign that would prevent the DLC Blood Rage Elixir card from appearing
  • Zombie Night Dark Saga was ending the game in a loss a few zombies earlier than it should have
  • The Wendigo will no longer erroneously continuously enfeeble undead
  • Fixed the difficulty scale from disappearing after you exit the Scenario Info screen
  • The Liquid Luck card should now be triggering its resourceful ability


Balance Adjustment
  • A few of Blues cards now have some minor Allegiance synergies.
  • Campaign Wounds chapter 2 now has a slight increased in chance to get wounded. Any DLC quest played in chapter 1 or 2 has an increased chance to receive a wounded campaign character.


Enhancements based on user feedback
  • In he settings you can now choose Random number of heroes. If turned on this will choose between 3 and 5 heroes for custom games and scenarios. If turned off it will work the same selecting 5 heroes for custom games and scenarios.

Mythical Mayhem 2024 News

First off thanks to those that have supported Mythical Mayhem for its first year of full release.

In reflection it's been an exciting year for Mythical Mayhem. In early March this year Mythical Mayhem released from early access. Their were numerous updates, enhancements and bug fixes that followed. In late summer the first DLC Judgment Night released.


Twisting Sands Update

Twisting Sands is the 2nd DLC for Mythical Mayhem. I had planned to try and release it for 2024 but it will be delayed a little bit. As of right now it is close to 90% done; I am pleased to say the campaign writing is complete and the Steam store page has been approved. I am not going to provide a specific date but as with everything I have done with Mythical Mayhem it will be released as soon as it is ready. Initially Twisting Sands DLC was planned to be similar in size to Judgment Night however Twisting Sands has grown a bit, it will release with 7 new campaign quests; 7 new heroes; 3 new Arch Villains; 3 New Foe Sets; and 2 New Minions.


Future of Mythical Mayhem

After Twisting Sands is released their may be 1 or 2 minor updates to fix any game issues and as always any reported bugs will be fixed as soon as possible. After Twisting Sands is released Mythical Mayhem will undergo a period of reflection. There is still so much I would still love to do and explore content wise like an Endless Campaign DLC and a larger DLC along with at least 2 more smaller DLCs. There are a few other items outside of content that may be explored but until they can be further perused and investigated they are just ideas. I plan to continue to monitor and remain actively engaged with all Fans of Mythical Mayhem (on the steam boards and Mythical Mayhem Discord).

Mythical Mayhem Version 1.3.1.0 Release Notes

New Feature based on user feedback
  • After successful completion of a Campaign Quest you can now see the Hero Summary if a Hero is offered to recruit as part of the quest reward.
  • You may now choose to Abandon a Side Quest.


Bug Fixes
  • The new formula for starting a campaign quest with a wounded hero was not working as intended you should now start with slightly less wounds as intended.
  • Fixed a minor outstanding display issue. When "Side Job" or "Recover" is selected the End Turn Button should now be properly highlighted.
  • Quick Play Custom Scenario fixed an issue with game components not showing when filtering heroes.
  • Show Quest Info no longer shows for the Campaign Quest "Generate Commerce"; as a result the game can no longer crash.


Balance Enhancements
  • The Campaign relic Staff of Warding should now protect better and further reduce the chance for your heroes to become wounded.
  • Dormaryn the Black has gotten stronger; are all of his cards now cost slightly less. Many of his cards now have rapid deploy. A few other changes that should make him a tier 3 hero.
