Some of you wondered how much of a choice and control you’ll have as the owner of the pet store… With today’s devlog we’ll hopefully shed some light on this topic! 💪

[h3]First of all, we’d like to not force you to sell anything you don’t want to. Therefore, we’ve implemented an absolute freedom in the assortment. 🙂 If you dream of a shop only selling cat food- no problem! You can decide to sell only this particular product. [/h3]


Though, it may not be the best strategy to maximize profit. As we’ve already mentioned in the previous devlogs part of the clients coming into the shop will look for particular items and inform you about it. 📝 If the item they’re looking for is not available they’ll leave your shop and you earn nothing. That’s why one of the challenges awaiting you will be facing clients’ requirements and ensuring diversity of offered goods in the limited space your current business offers. 🤔

[h3]The products you’ll be able to sell can be divided into categories, some of which are:

-food 🥫
-cages
-toys 🧸
-leashes, suspenders, collars
-hygiene and healthcare ➕
-accessories (fur brushes etc.)
-small animals 🐭[/h3]

Keep in mind these are not all of them and more will be available later in the full version of the game! 🐹


The process of ordering the products is pretty simple and straightforward. All you have to do is to add the products you’re interested in buying to the shopping cart and then press order. After a short while a truck 🚚 will arrive and deploy your order on a euro palette in the upload zone in front of the store.


[h3]Once the order is there, you can click on the boxes to unload them automatically onto the storage shelves. Of Course first you need to have them. If you don’t have enough space, the palette will remain in the upload zone without a way to unpack it. 😥[/h3]


If the player has space on store shelves for certain items which have been ordered, the storage worker will automatically start restocking the shelves with the items. If not, you have to designate what has to be on a particular shelf by putting the first commodity by yourself. After that as soon as the designated item appears in the storage, the shelf will be restocked automatically.

[h3]We’d like to remind you about the possibility of expanding your store. This will offer you a solution to the lack of space and allow you to offer more variable goods! 🤩[/h3]

[h3]When you first start running your shop, it comes with a small area with 4 parking spaces. But with the money you’re going to earn throughout your gameplay you can increase your parking area and buy more spaces. 👍[/h3]

WIthout a sufficient amount of the parking spaces your potential clients who’d like to drive to your shop will drive away which causes your cash flow to stagnate. 🙁

Therefore an investment in more spaces will most likely increase your daily income and allow you to invest more money! 🥳 💰


As you can imagine, many articles for your pets can be quite heavy and large so it’s only natural that the clients who drive to your shop are more likely to spend more money than those who walk. 🚶

[h3]When you run out of your own parking area don’t worry, you can always expand your shop and acquire all the parking spaces in the process. We’ll talk to you about it more in the future devlogs 👍[/h3]

Your business cannot be successful without competent, skilled employees to help you run it! 👍 Professional customer service, restocking the shop or advertising, good employees will help you do it faster, better and cheaper. As we’ve already said you’ll be able to hire employees. They’ll have different professions such as cashier, cleaner, warehouseman, customer assistant or live advertiser 📝

You’ll be able to hire as many people as you want 👱(as long as you don’t go bankrupt 😅) and customise their outfit’s colour. Each employee will have a different profession they’re proficient with and you’ll be able to send them for training so they can become even better at that job. 🤩


[h3]Each of the workers will have their own duties and responsibilities:

💲 Cashier - cashier customer service

🧹 Cleaner - keeping the shop nice and clean

📒 Warehouseman - restocking shelves and ordering the products

ℹ️ Customer service - helping the customers who can’t find the item they’re looking for and approaches clients suggesting them the products they may be interested in 😀

💁 Live advertisement - a real hypeman your shop needs- works outside the shop and encourages people to walk into the shop! 💪

Hello Managers! 👋

[h3]The brand new cash registers finally arrived! Therefore, we’re ready to introduce you to the new mechanic- customer service as a cashier. 👍[/h3]

From now on the players will not only be in charge of taking care of the shop but also point the clients towards the items they’re looking for, advise them (as we’ve mentioned in the previous devlog) and scan the products of their choice at the cash register.

[h3]Once the client chooses all the products they’re interested in, they’ll create a line near the cash register and wait to pay. Players will have to scan the products and receive the money, as well as give the change if needed. 💵[/h3]

As the time passes, the lines will get longer and clients will lose patience. In case they wait for too long, they’ll simply leave the items next to the cash register and leave without buying anything… This will generate mess and what’s even worse- lack of income! 🙍

[h3]As always, the bigger shop, the more clients it has and naturally the lines become bigger. It’s a promise of either, huge income or an even bigger mess at the cash register… This is where the employees come in handy! 🤩[/h3]

[h3]The workers will be able to take charge of the cash register and perform this task continuously without the interference of the shop owner. 🙂[/h3]

[h2]Players will be able to hire the workers from the very first day of the gameplay but keep in mind, they’ll generate expenses which can hinder your growth, everything has its price. 🤔[/h2]
