[h3]This time, we’d like to introduce you to one of the most important mechanics in the Pet Shop Simulator- customer service. 😀[/h3]

But before we get to the main topic, we’d like to tell you that we’re constantly working on developing the building mode we introduced you to in the previous devlog!


We’re adding more and more objects to the game. We also gave you an ability to paint almost everything to with color available in the game and introduced warehouse management via tablet. 📱


[h2]Currently, the customers you’ll encounter in your shops can be separated into three different groups.[/h2]

[h3]Group 1- customers who know what they want[/h3]

This is the easiest group to work with. Those NPCs will look for a specific item. You can identify them by the dialog cloud over their head. 🔍

Your task is to approach and when they tell you what item they need, find and sell it to them- it’s that easy! 👍

[h3]Group 2- customers who want to find something[/h3]

This time around, you’ll have to show those NPCs the way to an appropriate shelf. If the item the client looks for is available in your store- you’ll sell it to them. If it’s not, well… you’ll have to pass the information and disappoint them which in result makes the client leave your store! 😢


[h3]Group 3- (our personal favorite) undecided customers[/h3]

During your encounters with those customers, your task will be the most demanding one- convincing them to purchase a certain item. You can identify such clients because of their behavior. Those NPCs will stand next to an item for a prolonged period of time. 🧍

To succeed, you’ll have to enter a conversation with the client and choose correct dialog options (A/B or C) to fill the “persuasion” bar over their head. 📝

The difficulty level will be different for those customers. Sometimes, you’ll quickly convince the client to put something into their shopping carts and sometimes it’s going to take more effort! 🤩

But be careful- if you don’t pay attention to NPCs’ reactions you risk making them irritated 😡 and if you keep pushing even make them leave your shop or lose interest in the mentioned item.

[h3]As for what you are going to be able to do besides the actual management of the shop… One of those things will be planning the shop layout. 📝 [/h3]

There will be multiple rooms waiting for you: the office, storage rooms, toilets, the shopping hall, the employees room and more! What’s even better, you’ll get to decide the size and position of the rooms!

[h3]The starting shop won’t be a big one but as you spend more time earning money 💰 you’ll have an opportunity to buy the neighboring stores to expand your business![/h3]

You’ll also get to increase the parking space in front of your shop to increase the amount of customers able to drive to your shop! 👷

[h3]Not only that! You’ll also be able to inspect the area around your Pet Store. We also plan to give you a full control of that area 🖌️ and possibility to add elements not only inside the store but in the close vicinity of the building which is the entire area belonging to the shop premises! 🏡[/h3]
