Developer Update: New Class Reveal: "Storm Caller"
We are proud to announce that the second class in Darkblade Ascent is now completed; the Storm Caller.
This class aims to shock enemies, making them vulnerable to all damage sources which creates some very interesting synergies and build combinations.
The ultimate ability scales with lightning damage but due to it shocking enemies it can be combined with any other type of weapon to create devastating combos.

Conduction Cascade
- Bolts from Lightning Storm strike 2 enemies
- Bolts from Lightning Storm strike 3 enemies
- Bolts from Lightning Storm strike 5 enemies
Shock Vulnerability
- Shocked enemies take 300% damage from all sources
- Shocked enemies take 400% damage from all sources
- Shocked enemies take 500% damage from all sources
Evasive Bolt:
- Dodging has 20% chance to create a Lightning Storm above a close enemy
- Dodging has 30% chance to create a Lightning Storm above a close enemy
- Dodging has 50% chance to create a Lightning Storm above a close enemy
Charged Assault:
- Melee strikes on shocked enemies grant 2 lightning charges (Lightning Storm deals 10% more damage per charge) -
- Hitting shocked enemies with melee weapons adds 3 lightning charges for each enemy hit.
- Hitting shocked enemies with melee weapons adds 5 lightning charges for each enemy hit.
Rapid Tempest:
- Lightning storm cooldown is reduced to 20 seconds
- Lightning storm cooldown is reduced to 18 seconds
- Lightning storm cooldown is reduced to 16 seconds
