Early Access Update #37 - Swimming Ducks, Quality of Life changes, decoration!

Hi! In today's update, we're bringing a bunch of improvements, based on user suggestions and feedback. Check them out!

New content:
  • New road: Pier
  • New farmhand stall variations.


Improvements:
  • Ducks can now enter and swim in water tiles adjacent to theirs.
  • You can now enable automatic tractor in Recycle mode (it will keep adding items to the queue)
  • The "Need resources" error can now show more than just one type of resource (useful for houses and production buildings).
  • When recycling a tile, now the plowed/harvested land has priority over sprinklers (so sprinklers are removed last). This allows to recycle fields more easily.
  • You can now place sprinklers with the automatic tractor. It will try to place one sprinkler every 3 tiles.
  • You can now use the mouse wheel to zoom in / out in the map.
  • Money/Resource pop-ups from actions in town shops are now shown in the shopkeeper position (should be easier to see while interacting with them)
  • You can now place some fences underwater. This information is shown in the shop.
  • Added a button to show the minimap key.
  • Decorations and buildings placed in sidewalks are now placed slightly higher.
  • Added a small notice to the warehouse telling that the storage increase isn't fixed.
  • Added Gamepad RGB light support (for example Dual Shock controllers).
  • If an item is requested in a quest, it will show quest progress information in the shop window.


Gameplay changes:
  • Feeders will now increase the amount of food gained per resource. This amount is not fixed and ranges from +0% to +20%, depending on the number of tiles per feeder in the animal group.
  • Recipe levels will now slightly increase the amount of diamonds you get when finishing them.
  • Watering crops/flowers that are below 10% (when the water icon is shown) will now grant some favor.
  • Increased favor obtained from house jobs and production buildings.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed Farmhand icons being shown outside of the map area.
  • Fixed farm grid being slightly misplaced.
  • Fixed fence door sound being improperly spatialized.
  • We gave Hockles that favor he missed out on in his daily bonus. jk

Early Access Update #36 - Juice, Fairy customization, and more!

Hi! In today's update, we're bringing a new production building, the Juice Extractor, along with a new resource. We're also adding a way to customize the fairy that follows you on nights (as well as a way to disable it if you don't need it).

We're also fixing a synchronization error caused when paying farmhands.

New content:
  • New production building: Juice Extractor
  • Added a way to customize the fairy that follows you around on night.


Gameplay changes:
  • The Farmhand Union will now split payments between different farmhands. This means you can now spend money even when they are at >75% energy.
  • Decreased medal the weight town shop upgrades had on medal income.
  • Decreased Favor exchange rate for some resources.


Bugfixes:
  • You can now assign crops to farmhands even if it's not their season or you can't pay them at that time.
  • Fixed farmhand union payments not being networked.

Early Access Update #35 - Bugfix update

Hi! Today we're releasing a small patch addressing some bugs introduced in yesterday's update.

New content:
  • Added Croatian flag


Gameplay changes:
  • Reduced amount of resources required to upgrade the Farmhands Union


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed text boundary issues in the contextual help screen.
  • Fixed Silo shop information showing an unintended line.
  • Fixed chat window not disappearing when dismissing text entry on Steam Deck/Steam Big Picture.


Early Access Update #34 - A lot of helping hands!

Today we're releasing one of the most requested features, the farmhands!



Farmhands are people you can hire to help you with specific areas in your farm. You can customize their working area, and can even ask them to plant specific crops to help you with your quests!



We're also adding a lot of other content, QoL improvements and bugfixes, so check them out!

New content:
  • New town building: Farmhands Union, that allows you to place Farmhands on your farm. Also works as a centralized way to pay for their services.
  • New crop: Pineapple (+ variants)
  • New harvestable building: Silo
  • New flag: Checkered flag
  • New crop: Peanuts
  • New road: Lilypad path
  • New decoration: Planter (+ variant), where you can show crops or flowers as decoration.


Gameplay changes:
  • Production buildings can now be part of quests.


Improvements:
  • Quick travel buttons on the farm borders are now moved towards the inside a bit to prevent being partially hidden.
  • The Quest log now shows a list of pending town shop upgrades, so you can easily check which resources are needed etc.
  • Far west door now is properly transparent when seen from behind.
  • Map: When the center of a group of tiles doesn't belong to that group (for example a O,U, or L shape), their corresponding icon is shown on the nearest valid tile.
  • Changed the key used to zoom in / out UI while in splitscreen. The previous bind had some conflicts in specific menus.
  • Flipped horseshoe decorations to point upwards. Good luck to you!
  • Upgraded networking library to a new version. Should help getting rid of PhotonCloudTimeout errors.
  • You can now exit chat mode by pressing the B/Circle button on the controller.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed unintended icons being shown while hovering over sprinklers.
  • Fixed PS4 Touchpad button not being properly detected.
  • Fixed Terraforming Drone moving while opening the inventory.
  • Fixed Quest log issues.
  • (Probably)Fixed Playfab token expiring, and multiplayer services no longer working properly, when the game has been running for longer than 24 hours.
  • Fixed unintended behavior when interacting with an invalid tile while in Planting mode.
  • Fixed camera getting inside buildings in photo mode while in Town.Not perfect yet, but better.
  • Fixed a lot of UI bugs in Splitscreen mode.
  • Fixed problems when opening the menu while teleporting.
  • Fixed holes in some of the farm borders.
  • Fixed some UI memory leaks.

Early Access Update #33 - Welcome to the Far West

Today's update is western-themed! We're bringing a new house, along with a bunch of house and farm decorations with it.



New content:
  • Western House
  • Plenty of Western-themed house decorations, fences and tractor antennas
  • Water tower farm decoration


Improvements:
  • Added a simple daily reward system that nets you some money and Favor points every day.
  • Removed some soundtracks that weren't fully complete yet.
  • The recycle prompt will now always be shown if a house is in the recycle queue.


Bugfixes:
  • Fixed pinned quests UI bug.
